If you downloaded the free NHS App during the pandemic but aren’t currently using it, it could be time to take another look.

The app is a simple and secure way to access a range of NHS health and care services in an instant.

Packed with useful features and easy to navigate, it’s a more convenient way to stay on top of your health, saving you time.

Click on the Services tab to take actions to look after your health – ordering repeat prescriptions, checking your test results, and getting useful help and advice via NHS 111 Online.

You can also search the Health A-Z, which gives trusted information on hundreds of conditions and treatments.

In a rush? The app will provide your NHS number and help you quickly find services in your area, from pharmacies and GP practices to urgent treatment centres.

The Your Health tab allows you to manage your health information at the touch of a button, requesting repeat prescriptions, and viewing past and present appointments, test results and GP health record – all done securely.

You can even manage your organ donation decision or opt to be part of vital health research.

Depending on your GP surgery or hospital, the app can also save you time on the phone, giving you the option to send and receive messages from your GP surgery or health professional online and view useful links they’ve shared with you.

The app is available to everyone aged 13 and over who is registered with an NHS GP surgery in England or the Isle of Man. It’s completely free to use, so simply download or update it on your smartphone or tablet to get connected now.
