Football club staff 'shaken' after finding dead man's body in stadium mystery
Staff at a football club have been left "shaken" after finding a body of a 75-year-old man in the car park.
The body was found in the car park of the Welsh Premier football team The New Saints on Sunday. Police and paramedics rushed to the club stadium, known as The Venue, but the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
He was found by cleaners and academy coaches, and a senior staff member praised the quick actions of those who made the discovery.
Matt Lee told the Shropshire Star: "I must praise the staff for doing all that they could to help.
"They were all naturally shaken by the sad discovery."

Lee, who runs The Venue, added: "It was clear he had passed away and the police tried to do CPR and use the defib. He was an elderly man between 60 and 80. It's just really sad."

The death at the ground, also known as the Park Hall Stadium, is not being treated as suspicious. No further details have yet been provided.
West Mercia Police said: "We were called to The Venue on Burma Road in Oswestry shortly after 8.45am yesterday following a report of a deceased man in a car.
"Officers attended, along with the ambulance service, and sadly the 75-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene.
The club's women's team were playing Pontypridd United Women in the Genero Adran Trophy quarter-final from 2pm on Sunday, but the morning incident did not affect the team.
The New Saints told the Mirror they were "saddened" by the incident.

"West Mercia Police are leading the investigation into the discovery, and we will continue to assist with their enquiries."
The New Saints, a professional outfit, are known as the Welsh league's most successful club having won the top league prize on 14 separate occasions.

They were founded in 1959 as Llansantffraid, before becoming Total Network Solutions Llansantffraid FC.
In 2003, the club merged with England-based Oswestry town and was given its current name three years after when Total Network Solutions was taken over.
This season, the club is already seven points clear at the top of the league and they are due to play Bala Town at home on Saturday, January 21.
