'Sexually hungry' OAP shares secret to her thriving love life - and confidence
Being sexually liberated isn't something you should shy away from.
One pensioner has shared that she has a very healthy sex life, admitting that she enjoys "lots of sex", and has multiple orgasms daily. Bobbi Parker-Hall, 65, admitted that often she will spend all day in bed with her husband Dean, 64, as she's "sexually hungry."
And she's been mortified to learn that young people are having less sex than she is. New research, conducted by The Royal College of Occupational Therapists, has found that just 24% of those aged 18-24 are having sex more than once a week. But Bobbi thinks she understands the reason why.
She believes younger people lack communication in their relationships, leading to a decrease in bedroom activities. "It's best if couples can verbalise how they can complete their partner," Bobbi explained.
"I'm generally quite shy, so I'm not great at communicating what I fantasise about sexually, but Dean figured it out. He was a marriage therapist for a lot of his career and spent countless hours listening to unhappy women in marriages. Dean doesn't need lessons, he is a very intelligent and intuitive lover and knows how to please.
Woman tells of losing 29 kilos and becoming a bodybuilder in her 60s"Just two years ago, I started having multiple vaginal orgasms - which is incredible for in my 60s. We have had sex in our car and on a golf course late at night as we can't keep our hands off each other."
The survey found the top three causes of problems in the bedroom were poor communication (26%), stress (22%) and financial pressures (19%). Bobbi, a fitness coach, from Portland, Oregon, US, also recommends maintaining a healthy lifestyle to amp up your libido.
She added: "It makes me want to engage more sexually with my husband when I feel like I'm in shape. I always feel more confident naked when I'm fit too. Our sex life has always been great, but now it's even better than ever. At 65, I never thought this was possible - but sex does get better as you age - as long as you are open to it.
"I understand my body better and what it takes to enjoy sex to the fullest, which sometimes means shifting a few pounds. I have now been married for seven years and this new dynamic has convinced me that a highly sexual connection is the undisclosed secret to ageing well. We like to keep it spicy. This depth of pleasure and intimacy is a precious gift."
