Many flavours of crisps have gone to the snack graveyard over the past couple of years.

There's nothing more gutting than your favourite snack getting ditched, never to pass your lips again. All that you have left is the memories of what it once tasted like, and you'll sit and often daydream about it. Many Marmite fans will feel like this after Walkers announced that they were axing the controversial flavour of crisps, and some proclaimed their "outrage". But tears of joy will be wept when the same fans realise that the crisps are coming back - but with a twist.

Instagram page @uknewestfoods posted a picture of the all-new Marmite x Tayto collab, and in the caption, they penned: "Marmite Crisps are back!! And we must say, the flavour is SO much stronger! Walkers confirmed in December last year that the nation's beloved Marmite Crisps would be discontinued, but now we know why! Marmite are now in collaboration with Tayto instead of Walkers and the Marmite crisps are back!!"

They said they were "coming soon", however, the Mirror can confirm that Unilever, the producer of Marmite, has confirmed that the crisps are available now in Morrisons and Sainsbury's - so salivating Marmite fans can go grab them now.

In the comments of the Instagram post, someone wrote: "They're back, and they're so tasty", with other fans confirming that they're more flavourful than ever. "Yum", someone else praised, excited to try the new, and potentially improved, flavours.

Someone else said that they didn't feel as though they were as strong, however, penning: "Hmmm I thought the taste was weaker, maybe it was just the pack I had. Won't stop me repeat purchasing though. They are in Sainsbury's now." And when it was confirmed the crisps were coming back, people already started making plans for how they'd eat them. One said: ""Ohhhh these with cheddar cheese in a sarnie! I'm drooling already."
