A couple love being "a bit selfish" and jetting off around the world together.

Hannah Bird, 25, and her husband Charlie Camper, 24, who love to travel and have fun. They are in their "DINK era", which means 'dual income no kids'. The couple enjoy going on holiday as much as possible and have visited 34 countries together. They love doing exciting things like skydiving, skiing and snorkelling and wouldn't change their lifestyle to have children.

After getting married in September 2023, people often ask them when they will start a family, but they're not planning that yet. Hannah, a travel blogger from Weston-super-Mare, North Somerset, said: "We could save our money for our future kids but instead we were like screw it - let's be a bit selfish. We're investing in our memories. Lie ins all the way. You shouldn't shame people for not wanting kids."

Hannah and Charlie, a professional golfer, have been travelling for the last five years, always looking for the cheapest flights for their budget holidays. They've visited places like Iceland, Spain, Austria and Croatia. Charlie works from Thursday to Sunday, so they often manage to fit in cheap trips at the beginning of the week. Hannah said: "We try and go away once a month."

After Hannah was diagnosed with an aggressive cancer called Diffuse large B cell lymphoma in April 2022, she and her husband Charlie became even more determined to live their dreams. Hannah and Charlie are thinking of having a family in the future but can't have a biological child as Charlie has a genetic heart condition caused by a gene mutation.

Charlie currently has a defibrillator fitted to help his heart if he goes into cardiac arrest. "We definitely want kids but can't have biological kids. We'd have to go through horrendous hoops," Hannah shared. The couple currently feel they wouldn't be able to have the same lifestyle if children were involved.

In January, they travelled to India, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Sydney, Brisbane, Japan and Hong Kong for their honeymoon. "You can travel with kids but it's very different. We go skydiving and spend hours in the sea. You can't do that with a child," Hannah explained.

Despite some people saying their lives can't be "fulfilled" without children, Hannah and Charlie believe otherwise. "People say if you don't have a child you're not fulfilling your life. I'm pretty happy sat on a beach. If you don't want kids - that's OK. If you do - that's OK," Hannah said.
