Delicious airfryer 'jammy eggs' trick makes perfect breakfast in just minutes

Eggs are so versatile, and no matter how you serve them, they taste delicious.

As the famous song goes: "How do you like your eggs in the morning?" If you like them boiled with perfectly jammy centres, then look no further, as a food blogger has the perfect method for you. And the most enticing thing about them is how utterly easy they are to make.

Laurie, creator of the blog Fork to Spoon, has shared that rather than putting your eggs in a pan of boiling water and making them that way, popping them in the air fryer will give them the perfect texture if you like them with gooey middles.

She said: "Jammy eggs are a simple, delicious breakfast dish you can make in an air fryer. It's a great way to use excess eggs and add variety to your usual morning routine!"

So, we know that they're delightful, but just how are you supposed to cook them? Start by adding up to seven room-temperature eggs into your air fryer basket.

Laurie recommended cooking the eggs at 132C for 11 minutes, then, just before they are done, fill a bowl with ice and water ready for when they're cooked. Once they're ready, "immediately" transfer them from the air fryer, into the water bath and leave them submerged for five minutes. This makes the eggs easier to peel but also helps achieve that perfectly soft, jammy middle.

When you've finished peeling the eggs, Laurie recommends putting them back into the water. You can keep them in an airtight container to keep them tasting fresh for up to a week in the fridge, reports The Express.

Then, you can serve them with whatever you fancy, but the food blogger says seasoning is non-negotiable. Some of her favourites include hot sauce, red chilli flakes and plenty of cracked black pepper.
