Married At First Sight's Tasha hits out over claims she's split with Paul
Married At First Sight's Tasha Jay has furiously hit back at claims she has split with her beau Paul Liba.
This comes after suggestion were made that their relationship was in trouble after they had not spent Valentine's Day together. The publication claimed the pair were "on the rocks" and also said: "Out of all the MAFS UK couples still together Tasha and Paul remain the most elusive as they posted absolutely nothing. It’s giving on the rocks x." But the reality TV star, who showed her fiery side while on the show, wasted no time in setting the record straight.
Taking to social media she wrote: "It’s giving we live in two different cities and we’re celebrating on the weekend thank you very much." She added: "And we posted on our stories." The couple first got together on the E4 show and bonded immediately despite the fact they had never seen each other before tying the knot.
The Leeds born star is currently only one of three couples from the last series. However, Tasha has made no secret of the fact their relationship has not been without its ups and downs. Back in October last year she told Heat: "I'd say I think everyone thinks that mine and Paul's relationship's just going to be perfect and I can tell you now, it is not plain sailing at all."
While Tasha and Paul continue to build a future together the same can not be said for Peggy and Georges, who were also on last year's series. On Valentine's Day, Peggy revealed that her relationship with Georges had come to an end. She told her followers: "I'm so sorry I've been quiet on socials everybody but there's a reason for my silence. Me and Georges are no longer together and I'm absolutely heartbroken."
Kate rules out receiving romantic gift from Prince William on Valentine's DayShe added: "It's affected my mental health and it's taken me weeks to come to terms with it but with it being Valentine's Day, I can't pretend to be OK. Thank you to everyone who has supported us and our journey... Nobody is more upset about it than me x."
And just moments after Peggy's post, Georges decided to break his silence. He wrote: "Wasn't expecting a statement from Peggy regarding this situation. I'm heartbroken by our breakup and also trying to come to terms with life without Peggy. I appreciate a lot of you have questions but I won't be talking about this situation as of yet. Also thank you for the messages of support.
From the start of their relationship Peggy and Georges was met with a number of obstacles, namely Peggy's family's dislike of him. And from the beginning, Peggy wasn't too keen on Georges when he opened up about his obsession for gaming. But the two bounced back until the devastating homestay episode which saw Georges having to pack hi bags and leave Peggy's family home in Kent.
However, during the vow renewal Peggy chose to go against her parent's advice to end her relationship. One of Georges gripes with Peggy was their lack of intimacy and even by November last year, during the reunion dinner party, the pair had still not had sex.
During a chat with Roz and Laura, Peggy confessed that she had not had sex with Georges as she was waiting for the right person. And fans were quick to voice their concern. One person wrote: "They still haven't done it after all the time in the experiment + 6 weeks after #MAFSUK!!" And another added:"Peggy and Georges still not consummating their 'marriage' six weeks after the show because she's waiting for the "right person"...it's not looking good brev #MAFSU."
