Wrecker and the Batch crew are back for season three of the Star Wars animated series

The next instalment in the Star Wars franchise is almost here, as The Bad Batch returns for a third and final season. The hit Lucasfilm Animation series returns to Disney+ later this month, with its rag-tag group of clones still dealing with a tragic loss and set to face villains both new and familiar.

The critically acclaimed animated series serves as a sequel and spin-off from the Emmy-winning series The Clone Wars. Set in a galaxy far, far away, The Bad Batch follows Clone Force 99, an elite clone trooper squad whose genetic mutations allowed them to resist carrying out Order 66, when the Jedi were murdered to near-extinction.

In the new season, the Batch crew will have their limits tested in the fight to reunite with Omega – now a prisoner of the Empire – as she faces challenges of her own inside a remote Imperial science lab. With the group fractured and facing threats from all directions, they will have to seek out unexpected allies, embark on dangerous missions and muster everything they have learned to free themselves from the Empire.

The hit series boasts a talented voice cast led by Dee Bradley Baker, who reprises his role as the members of The Bad Batch and other clones including Captain Rex and Commander Cody.
