The Super Bowl comes around every February and is the ultimate, and final, game of the NFL season. This year's championship saw the Kansas City Chiefs go head to head with the San Francisco 49ers, with the Kansas City Chiefs taking home the winning title.

Midway through the game, which was hosted at the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, comes the equally iconic Super Bowl LVIII Halftime Show, which was headlined by RandB legend, Usher. The star's Apple Music Super Bowl Halftime show spanned around 13 minutes and saw him belt out his hit classics over his impressive 30-year career, which included tracks such as Confessions, Burn, Caught Up, and My Boo, among many other belters.

The 45-year-old not only wowed with his vocals, glitzy outfits - of which there were several costume changes - and his killer dance moves, but also his roller skating skills. He also ran through a medley of his songs, as well as duets with other artists, who also joined him on stage, including Alicia Keys who performed If I Ain't Got You before collaborating with Usher on their 2004 single My Boo.

H.E.R graced the stage with an electric guitar to perform You Got It Bad and Bad Girl, followed by will.i.am, which led into OMG, before Lil Jon got the crowd going with Shots, followed by a collaboration with Ludacris to end the show with Yeah! Of course where there the Kansas City Chiefs are is most likely going to be Travis Kelce, and girlfriend Taylor Swift, who proudly - and nervously - watched on during the game.

Taylor was seen downing drinks in the stand, singing alongside close friend Blake Lively, and chewing her nails in apprehension before racing down to meet her beau on the field to congratulate him with a kiss. But there were many other highlights, and unmissable moments, from this year's Super Bowl.

1. Travis' mum is his biggest fan

Travis and Taylor's romance is one of the hot topics of conversation on many people's lists, so much so there have been numerous memes around Taylor winning the NFL games. While Taylor has been present for the majority of Travis' games of late, and cheered on from a box, it's Travis' mother, Donna Kelce, who has proved she is the OG fan girl.

One eagle-eyed fan noted Donna was the first person in the Las Vegas stadium over the weekend to cheer on her son - and it's important to note she is seated in the stadium and did not join Taylor in the box.

If that wasn't proof enough of her loyal status the fact she often wears customized outfits to support her son is the cherry on the cake. For the Super Bowl Donna wore a personalized bomber jacket, which was created by Stoney Clover. The black outerwear design features contrast stripe detailing on the cuff, as well as Travis' number 87 in red and gold encased in a white heart on the back of the jacket, as well as "Mama Kelce" embellished on the back, and embroidered on the collar.

2. Beyonce announces new album - and other new releases

The Super Bowl was prime time for advertisements, whether it was a new commercial, movie release, or promoting a new album. Beyonce broke the internet as she teased her new album in the Verizon advert. A snippet of her hotly anticipated album, to follow the success of her Renaissance album, had fans on tenterhooks.

In the brief clip, Beyonce playfully made a nod to her Lemonade track as she tried to break a block of ice while working a pop-up lemonade stand in a bid to "break the internet". The clip features the music icon playing the saxophone alongside an A.I. Beyonce, as well as her running for office.

Beyonce shared a teaser clip on her official Instagram account too. Despite teasing the launch of the second part of the Renaissance album, two tracks have already dropped from the album, though the full album will officially drop on 29 March.

Meanwhile, the official Wicked trailer was also released during a break in the championship game, which sees Ariana Grande take on the role of Glinda and Cynthia Erivo as Elphaba, as well as the trailer for the Deadpool sequel.

3. Alicia Keys's vocals get scrutinized

We can never reach the same vocals as Alicia Keys, but some harsh critics weighed in on Alicia's first note when she took to the mic during Usher's Half-Time show. As one tweeted: "Alicia done lost her f***ing keys, wtf was that??"

Another commented: "The voice crack at the very beginning was dodgy af but she recovered quickly I thought lmao must've been nervous." While others commented on the brief intimate dancing between Usher and Alicia during their collaboration of My Boo, which they think would have left Alicia's husband, Swizz Beatz, furiously watching on.

4. Lana Del Rey gets knocked over

Taylor Swift was among many famous faces watching the Super Bowl LVIII on Sunday 11 February, as she was joined in the box by Blake Lively, as well as Ice Spice. Lady Gaga, Beyonce, as well as Jay Z, as well as Lana Del Rey were also in attendance.

Following the Kansas City Chiefs' triumph cameras panned to Taylor celebrating her beau's win, but eagle-eyed viewers noticed Lana was pushed to one side as many jumped around. One fan who noticed Lana falling, tweeted: "Lana Del Rey announces new album "Knocked down at the Super Bowl", while a separate comment read: "Lana falling down while chaos is prevailing cuz the chiefs win I hope she's okay."

5. Fans fear the stage will collapse

The Super Bowl Half Time Show was epic, with many filled with nostalgia at Usher's performance. Throughout the show, Usher was joined on stage with fellow musicians, as well as a large band and dancers.

By the end, the stage was filled with hoards of people who were dancing and jumping on stage in the finale, though some feared the stage was going to collapse as it seemed to bow under the pressure of all the people excitedly jumping.

One tweeted: "Watching the #SuperBowl #HalftimeShow with #Usher and waiting for that stage to collapse at the end."
