Love Island winner Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu has shared the correct way to pronounce her Turkish surname, after revealing that fans have been saying it completely wrong. The 28-year-old actress spotted confusion amongst her fanbase and took to Instagram to record herself pronouncing it correctly in a Q&A.

Not long after winning the ITV show last year, Ekin-Su responded to a follower's query and explained that saying 'Jool-jool-olo' twice is the best way to pronounce her surname. The reality TV star, who grew up in London and Essex, has previously been called Susie Hayzel, Su Hayzel and Su Ekin Cülcüloğlu in the past.

Just days before Ekin-Su's debut on Dancing on Ice, it was announced that she was put on bed rest by doctors and "banned" from training.

The influencer, who is partnered with Brendyn Hatfield on the ITV dance competition, fell ill with a fever after months of rigorous training to prepare for the launch night.

Ekin-Su took to Twitter to break the news to her fans: "Very ill. Doctors have told me to rest hopefully I can recover very quickly ready for Sunday."

Her followers were gutted and sent well wishes to the reality star to recover quickly and prioritise her health over being ready for her first routine.

Her boyfriend and fellow Love Island winner Davide Sanclimenti also took to Instagram to share a snap of Ekin-Su wrapped up in bed, as he assured fans he was taking care of her.

"Someone's home with the fever… in good hands though," he wrote over the sweet image, as he hugged her in bed.

The illness comes only days after Ekin-Su glammed up for the photo call to promote the brand-new season of Dancing on Ice.

The 28-year-old is among the fresh batch of 11 celebrities, who will embark on the ultimate celebrity talent competition as they take to the ice each week.

The stars include EastEnders legend Patsy Palmer and Coronation Street's Mollie Gallagher - though Ekin-Su can see herself beating them all.

She said: "I used to ice-skate when I was a little girl – I did a show when I was six or seven and then I started doing ballet.

"I've always had a performance side in my blood and I do think Dancing on Ice will be hard but it's an opportunity to show a different audience a side to me. I think I'd be good and I can see myself winning it."

The same lovely judges are returning to the panel this year - Ashley Banjo, Jayne Torvill, Christopher Dean and Oti Mabuse will be watching the stars skate around the ring and give them their scores.

Meanwhile, This Morning stars Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby return as hosts.
