Fans left 'disappointed' after Limitless Win couple lose out on £1.25m prize
Fans of Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly's quiz show Limitless Win were left gutted for married couple Paul and Ellie after they lost out on the chance to walk away with more than £1m.
The pair who had been sailing along nicely were left stumped when asked: "In the bible, according to chapter 7 of the Book of Genesis, how many people went into Noah's Ark? The couple were left in a quandary as they struggled to think of an accurate answer.
Meanwhile, Ant and Dec were visibly on edge as the correct answer would have earned them a whopping £1.25m.

Noah, his wife, their three sons and their wives made it onto the ark. If they had won the eye-watering cash prize it would have been the most won in the history of a British game show.
On their exit, Ellie exclaimed: "Oh my gosh my blood pressure." And her husband replied: "Love you, we smashed it." The pair decided to head to Scotland for a well-earned break with their dog along for the ride. Dec was left in disbelief as he said: " Can't believe how high we got up to."

And it seems fans also felt the couple's pain - even though they believed they made the correct decision to not risk the £75,000 they had amassed in the bank. Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, one fan said: "Leaving with £75,000 is a lot better than leaving with zippo! Congrats! #LimitlessWin."

Come on. ONE exact answer! #LimitlessWin." Meanwhile a fourth said: "Loving these two on #LimitlessWin like the risky antics and reactions." Ant and Dec have been joined at the hip since they shot to fame on Byker Grove, playing PJ and Duncan in the 1990s. On the back of their popularity, they then launched a music career before securing a lucrative and long-lasting TV hosting career.
They have fronted a number of shows including Britain's Got Talent, Push the Button, SMTV Live, I'm a Celebrity... and not to mention Limitless Win. In their joint book, Once Upon a Tyne: Our Story, which was released in 2020, they shared juicy secrets about their fallouts. One of which happened in Spain in 1995.
They were set to appear on GMTV's Fun in the Sun with Anthea Turner, which was being filmed live in Torremolinos, Spain. But by 10pm, Dec wanted to go to bed because they had an early start the next day - but Ant didn't want their social gathering to end.
In the book, Ant remembers asking Dec: "What the hell are you going to bed for?" Ant recalled: "Something about that incensed me and I lost it." He then said: "Don't you dare walk away from me when I'm talking to you." Dec then started arguing with Ant, asking: "Who the hell does he think he was, talking to me like that?" He said Ant "was really pushing my buttons." They kept arguing in the lift. When Ant tried to make his point, Dec put his fingers in his ears and started saying: "La la la la, I can't hear you."
Ant explained: "That made my blood boil... I punched Dec in the chest." Dec responded by trying to knock the cap off Ant's head, as he admitted: "I didn't quite hit the target and ended up just punching the peak of his cap." He added: "I proved Dec is rubbish at fighting when he's had a few".
