Whether you’re craving a movie marathon snack or a crowd-pleasing appetiser, nothing quite compares to cheese-loaded nachos.

While making the delicious dish may appear to be a laborious task, savvy mum Mrs Hinch has revealed how to rustle up the treat in just 10-minutes using the trusty air fryer. The cleaning expert, who regularly uploads household hacks online, sent Instagram followers wild with her easy trick - and it only requires a handful of ingredients.

Officially known as Sophie Hinchliffe, the influencer captioned her post: "Who remembers my Hinch Nachos? Well, welcome to the air fryer edition." She kicked off the video with footage of her lined air fryer baking tin, which she filled with one bag of Doritos tortilla chips and a large bowl of cheese puffs.

The next step involves coating the chips with a generous serving of diced spring onion and regular onion, chopped red bell peppers, and plenty of grated cheese. The mum-of-two then sprinkled more spring onion onto the dish, before covering it with sweet chilli sauce.

It was then placed in the air fryer to bake at 180C for 10-minutes. Once ready, Mrs Hinch spread the cheesy nacho mixture across the baking sheet, before topping it with avocado and sour cream. The viral video was shared to her 4.8million fans, and impressed followers flocked to the comments to share their responses.

One user quipped: "Made these for me and my husband and may have eaten most of them myself, so good!!" Another gushed: "Yes they’ve been my favourite ever since you shared them all those years ago. Sooo good."

A third penned: "So brilliant in the air fryer. I do exactly the same but I split the ingredients and do two layers so you get some more cheese in the middle." While a fourth confessed: "We are nacho obsessed! Literally just made these on the grill! Will definitely give them a go in the air fryer with sour cream or salsa."

This comes as a recent YouGov poll has shown that a staggering 63 percent of Brits have a positive opinion of nachos, while only 14 percent dislike the snack. On the 'Most Popular Mexican Dishes' ranking, nachos landed in second place on the scoreboard, just behind fajitas.

The tangy chicken wrap scored an impressive 69 percent on the popularity chart, placing it at top the leaderboard. While chilli con carne claimed third position, after scooping a respectable score of 62 percent.
