1000-lb Sisters fans have praised Tammy Slaton for her "emotional growth", as they admitted they are "so proud".
Her weight loss journey has been documented on the hit TLC show 1000-lb Sisters, alongside her younger sister Amy. TV fans flocked to social media to air their views after witnessing her journey.
One wrote on Reddit: "I have always rooted for her, even when she was acting impossible. This season she has finally become so self aware. So much so that she has 20/20 hindsight. I wasn't prepared for her to loose so much after working so hard to be happy."
Another said: "I remember thinking st the end of last season' You know what, I actually HOPE she wakes up and changes because it's going to be one heck of a turn around story.
"And do you know what, she did. She really did. And I have so much respect for Tammy. "Like loads. She's a different person now."

Tammy Slaton's fans showered her with praise (TLC /Instagram)Just last December Tammy rejoiced as she met a huge milestone in her weight loss journey. Tammy said she's 'so proud' as she dropped two dress sizes.
Tammy, 37, has recently lost a whopping 269lbs (20 stone). And in a bid to keep her loyal legion of fans in the loop with her ongoing weight loss success, Tammy took to TikTok to gush over how "proud" she is to have dropped two dress sizes.
"I’m so excited that I’m losing weight. I’m so proud of myself," she captioned the short video on the social media platform. In the video, Tammy could be seen talking about some clothes she had been sent, with her excited over how the smaller size of a top would now fit her.
She explained how she had planned on giving the smaller size top to her brother, but then revealed that she quite fancied keeping it for herself. "That's a 1X and that'll fit me," she gushed, adding: "I used to be in a 3X and now I'm not."
Tammy has been on an emotional journey after dealing with heartache too. At the start of July 2023 it was announced that Tammy's estranged husband Caleb Willingham, 40, had died.
His younger brother took to Facebook at the time to reveal the sad news. Tammy later confirmed his death.
