Sticking to our fitness goals in January can often be a struggle, but this gran makes it so look easy with her rock-hard abs and bold bikini shots.

"Gym obsessed" grandma Lesley Maxwell, 66, can regularly be spotted in the gym where she often catches peoples' eyes with her jaw-dropping physique. Lesley works as a personal trainer loves doing deadlifts and chin ups and is often mistaken for her 23-year-old granddaughter.

The content creator, from Melbourne, Australia, loves proudly flaunting her body on social media and often poses for photo shoots. However, Lesley, who believes "age is just a number", says she constantly has to deny that she has Photoshopped her images.

To squash the false rumours, Lesley - who often gets called a 'cougar' - recently created an Instagram reel where she showed her body in real time. "A video doesn't lie," she said, as she showed off her incredibly toned body in a bikini.

Lesley, who says she attracts men as young as 18, said: "Sometimes I'm asked if I Photoshop my pictures. But a video doesn't lie. So here I am today. And besides, I love the feeling training effectively plus eating clean give me. You can do it too."

People rushed to support the fitness fanatic as one described her as "absolutely perfect" and another said she has an "elegant physique".

"There's nothing to Photoshop when you can see the results all created by your hard work and dedication," pointed out another.

Lesley decided to change her lifestyle after she had been left in hospital with severe asthma and pneumonia. The day after she was discharged, the mum-of-three was determined to make significant change - not only to her lifestyle and body but to inspire other women to follow in her footsteps.

The fitness guru has since won 35 body building titles and qualified as a fitness instructor. The grandma, who fits in the same clothes as her daughter and granddaughter, swears by her "anti-ageing" workouts, and thinks all women should be reaping the benefits of exercise, which she says includes strengthening bones and helping to tone by adding muscle.

Lesley said: "There's no excuse for you not to train. I understand we are all busy, but every 30 minutes every second day will ensure you give your body the best chance of becoming healthy and strong.

She added: "I'm so passionate about helping people to be healthier, happier and feel young and sexy at any age. Should we ever be considered too old to wear a bikini? I don't think so."
