Death in Paradise is celebrating its 100th episode this week, with Ralf Little, Don Warrington and their co-stars having been joined by a former cast member for the occasion.

Sean Maguire, 47, has reprised his role as Marlon Collins for the episode. He previously played the character in the first episode of the BBC show back in 2011. Marlon is described as a "reformed yacht thief" who now manages a yacht club.

Viewers will likely recognise Sean from various other roles in his career, with him having appeared in a number of projects over the years. The Mirror has mentioned some of his biggest roles below for those who aren't sure where they know him from.

One of his earlier roles was on Grange Hill, having joined the cast when he was 11. He played the role of Terence 'Tegs' Ratcliffe on the children's drama series for four years, with him on the BBC show from 1988 until his departure in 1991.

He later appeared as apprentice footballer Aidan Brosnan on soap opera EastEnders in 1993. Sean's character was involved in a high-profile storyline featuring homelessness and drug-abuse, with more than 23 million people said to have watched the Christmas Day episode that year - which saw Aidan try to take his own life. He was however stopped by a loved one and left Walford in the following episode.

He's since been in films like Meet the Spartans (2008), as well as shows such as CSI: NY and Criminal Minds. He notably played Robin Hood in the ABC series Once Upon a Time. Sean joined the cast in its third season in 2013 and remained on the show until it ended in 2018. He starred in guest, recurring and main role capacity over that period.

Scott & Bailey fans may also recognise the actor from the ITV police procedural. He appeared as PC Sean McCartney in the second and third series, which aired in 2012 and 2013 respectively. The character was a love interest for Rachel Bailey (played by Suranne Jones) on the acclaimed show.

The actor - who is understood to live in California with his wife Tanya Flynn and their three children - has since been in episodes of the CW's apocalyptic drama the 100 and Syfy's fantasy series the Magicians. Last year, he appeared in an episode of CBS procedural action drama S.W.A.T.
