NFL star Travis Kelce's thoughtful Taylor Swift gift 'inspired by her'
NFL star Travis Kelce has made a sweet gesture to his girlfriend Taylor Swift by purchasing matching custom tennis bracelets for them both to wear.
The trinkets were spotted by eagle-eyed observers when the pop superstar hugged her boyfriend in the aftermath of the Kansas City Chiefs' win in the AFC Championship game last weekend. The joy on their faces was clear to see as Kansas City reached a second Super Bowl in as many years, with the couple sharing an on-field embrace.
The gold jewellery was made by Wove Made Inc., based in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. It caught the eye of many of the singer's army of fans as the Chiefs reached yet another Super Bowl. Kelce had, in fact, asked the company to make the bracelets with the initials "TNT" in December, with the gift likely having been given to the "Anti-Hero" hitmaker around Christmas time.
For the first time, Swift sported the bespoke bracelet, which artisans had crafted over the space three days in late 2023 after being contacted by her beau. The boss of the company, Simone Kendle, shared with PEOPLE that the squad put great energy into fulfilling Kelce's order: "Since this was for him, we were all hands on deck."

Kendle later recalled how she got word of the footballer's keen interest to purchase a precious accessory from them a few months back. She reminisced: "It's really a full-circle moment. There was some serious Taylor fever going on at the time with her 'Eras Tour' and Michelle was inspired by the friendship bracelets that were being exchanged at her concerts."
When tasked by the two-time Super Bowl champion, the crew then embarked on designing a custom piece, paying homage to the singer's fanbase who are known for exchanging matey bands. "She knew she wanted to do an elevated take on the beaded bracelets we saw people wearing at her concerts."
As she recollects the studio atmosphere, she said, "The team's initial reaction was extreme excitement." Kendle revealed how high spirits swept across the workspace, adding, "A lot of us are Swifties and the idea of having Taylor wearing one of our pieces was really exciting since we knew that it would bring major exposure to our brand."

As she wrapped her arms around Travis to congratulate him, a member from our team spotted the bracelet peeking out from her sweater and rang the alarm!"
Since Taylor wore the bracelet, thousands more people now have become aware of the brand, with the company having benefitted massively from the increased exposure. Kendle shared, "We appreciate the outpouring of support that we've received from the community online."
"People have been so kind and supportive and we've seen nothing but positivity that's come from this moment. We have a connection to so many different communities and we've really seen people from all over cheering us on."
Simone also said how proud she is to see the difference their little company has made. She mentioned, "It's been touching to see the impact we've had and that our story of a small start-up being on the wrist of one of the world's biggest celebrities is a success story that's inspired people!"
