After losing 80 pounds in 2020, she recently admitted to regaining some of the weight, which has affected her confidence.
On Instagram, she shared: "Working really hard has meant that, coz of all the stress, I've gained 14kg's (30 pounds)! It makes me feel bad about myself...it shouldn't...but it does." Despite this setback, Rebel is still focused on her health and upcoming projects, including new films and a memoir.

Woman tells of losing 29 kilos and becoming a bodybuilder in her 60sRebel, who has polycystic ovarian syndrome, found weight loss challenging due to the condition. This syndrome is largely characterised by cysts on women's ovaries and hormone imbalances that often cause infertility and difficulty with weight regulation.
Despite these challenges, Rebel was determined to overcome the syndrome with the goal of motherhood in sight. She enlisted the help of a personal trainer, Jono Castano, who helped her develop fitness plans. She even shared videos of her workouts, including flipping a giant tyre and doing 30 laps at the famous Sydney Opera House.
Jono told Yahoo! Lifestyle: "A transformation is never-ending, the journey always continues, so you can never give yourself 10, 12 weeks. Because it just continues, once you reach your goal then what?
"Then you're going to stop? You can't stop it becomes a lifestyle, you continue and you become the best version of yourself as cliche as it sounds."
Rebel underwent a massive health kick in her life that saw her shed a whopping 5.5 stone. After shedding the weight, Rebel gushed over how the transformation left her feeling "so much healthier".
Speaking on the Life Uncut podcast in January 2022, Rebel said she had been a "normal size" when she was younger, but in her twenties gained weight after she was diagnosed with PCOS (Polycystic Ovary Syndrome). She then went on to add that most comedians "often have something physical about them that's abnormal" – which is why they take up comedy.
"Those people tend to go better in comedy," she said, "so I turned what was turned into a lot of agents as a disadvantage into my advantage."
In November 2021, Rebel revealed how she used to eat up to 3,000 calories "most days", before switching to a high-protein diet, which involved eating fish and chicken breast. She admitted that there is still room for cheating on the diet, here and there, and said she was aiming for an overall "healthy balance".
