Singing sensation Adele has revealed that she is now working out two or three times a day after losing a whopping seven stone.

The Someone Like You singer, 35, has shared an insight into her gruelling workout routine as she aims to maintain a "rock solid" derrière after completely overhauling her lifestyle and diet a number of years ago and transforming her appearance.

While she remains strict with her routine six days a week, the British singer allows herself to indulge on Sundays when she orders her favourite takeaway and insists on not stepping foot in the gym to make the most of her rest day. However, from Monday to Saturday, Adele doesn't sway from her strict diet and exercise schedule as she aims to look and feel the best she ever has.

Having previously gone teetotal, Adele now drinks on occasion - and makes the most of it when she does after admitting that she loves nothing more than getting "hammered" on her favourite alcoholic beverage - white wine.

Adele has another six months to look forward to in Las Vegas as she finishes off her residency, but the singer is allowing herself to indulge in more fun when it comes to her lifestyle outside of work. Opening up about her new routine, the Hello hitmaker revealed: "I have done absolutely nothing since last weekend. I am back at my gym grind like nobody's business, I am doing two or three sessions a day. My a**e is getting rock solid again. I can move mountains with my bum. That is all I have done."

It's all about balance for the singer though, as she enjoys nothing more than pigging out on Sundays. "I gave up drinking, coffee and all the fun things being an adult allows you to do. I was so boring. So on my last break I was like, 'I will have a glass of wine and four espressos'. So now I am back on shows, I am only allowing myself to drink on Sundays. But it is okay. Four or five white wine spritzers get me absolutely hammered and also I order McDonalds and forget the next day so it doesn't really count," she told Desert Island Discs.

Adele was once famed for her love of a cigarette and a sugary brew. But after having son Angelo ten years ago, the London-born star decided the time had come to make some changes. She went on to lose an incredible seven stone in a move that changed not just her body, but also her mind. "There’s a lot to do with her weight loss that has really changed her life, but it’s so much more than that," a friend previously told The Mirror.

For the sake of her voice, the first thing she did was to ditch her daily 10 cups of sugary tea and wave goodbye to alcohol, cigarettes, caffeine and all "spicy, citrusy, and tangy" foods. "It's f***ing boring, but I don't think you take your voice seriously until you've had an accident," she previously told Australia's 60 Minutes of her 2011 vocal haemorrhage.

Then, in 2016 she shed yet more weight ahead of her tour in a bid to "get some stamina". And by 2017 she was believed to have lost more than two stone reportedly due to implementing a second change - The Sirtfood Diet.

The food programme involves filling up on plant-based foods like kale, buckwheat, green tea and turmeric. The foods are known as sirtuin activators, and are said to control the way the body processes fat and sugar and regulate the appetite in the process.

Green tea and cocoa powder are also on the menu, along with red wine and cheese. "The Sirtfood Diet is all about losing weight and feeling fantastic through eating great-tasting food," a source told the Daily Mail. "It's based on extensive research into the power of key plant foods, which when added to our diet turn on fat burning and improve wellbeing."

In a bid to improve her health from all angles, the singer has also made some changes to her fitness regime. The third step in her transformation was to hire LA "body wizard" Pilates instructor Camila Goodis - who also works with Piers Morgan's wife Celia Walden. Camila was introduced to Adele through Robbie Williams' wife Ayda Field and says the down-to-earth star still isn't a huge fan of working out.
