Brits looking for cheap France holidays may want to check out new deals from Eurostar, as the the high speed rail service has launched tickets from just £39 each way to Paris.

However, it's not the only destination on offer: you can also bag cheap fares to Lille, Brussels or Rotterdam, all from London St Pancras.

If you fancy branching out a little, the magnificent cathedral of Cologne can be easily visited with a quick change at Brussels.

The deal is running until January 16, so you don't have too long to scoop up the deals - which are for journeys between January 23 and March 24.

Only some of the fares available are for £39, so you'll have to dig deep to make sure you get the best deal - you can find out more and book on Eurostar.com.

Luckily, the company has previously shared some tips on how to find its bargain fares.

"Our best deals are available between midday and midnight on a Monday, any time on a Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday and between midday and midnight on a Saturday," it states on the website.

Once in Paris, it is very easy to splash the cash on many of the amazing tourist destinations in the City of Lights, whether you're heading to the Eiffel Tower, wandering down the Champs-Élysées, or tucking into some of those delicious world-famous pastries.

If you want to save a bit of money while still having the proper continental experience, try stuffing yourself silly with the massive sandwiches at CheZaline.
