Saudi giants Al-Nassr are interested in signing Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Casemiro from Manchester United this month.

Al-Nassr, who Cristiano Ronaldo plays for, are looking to bring in reinforcements to boost their hopes of winning the Saudi Pro League title. The Riyadh club are currently second in the table, seven points behind leaders Al-Hilal with 15 games remaining.

United are looking to sell several players in 2024, whether that be in this transfer window or the next. Sir Jim Ratcliffe has agreed to buy a 25 per cent stake in the Premier League club for £1.3billion and wants to build a squad capable of consistently winning trophies.

Erik ten Hag's side are currently eighth in the Premier League and have already been knocked out of Europe and the Carabao Cup. United's director of football John Murtough flew to Saudi Arabia in December to try to sell some of their underperforming players.

Al-Nassr could now make use of those transfer talks by swooping for Wan-Bissaka, 26, and Casemiro, 31. According to the Daily Mail, the Saudis will try to take Casemiro's £375,000-a-week salary off United's wage bill after a difficult campaign for the Brazilian.

Casemiro became one of United's best players after arriving from Real Madrid in a £70million deal in August 2022 but has struggled for form and fitness this season. It's believed Ratcliffe has questioned the decision to sign the midfielder in the first place.

In regards to Wan-Bissaka, he's yet to sign a new deal at Old Trafford. United triggered a clause in his contract to extend it until June 2025, but it's unclear where his long-term future lies. Al-Nassr believe there's an opportunity to sign the right-back.

Although signing Wan-Bissaka would be a huge coup for Al-Nassr, Ronaldo would probably prefer his employers to sign United's other right-back - Diogo Dalot. Ronaldo, 38, heaped praise on Dalot, 24, in his infamous chat with Piers Morgan in November 2022.

Ronaldo left United shortly after slamming the club in that talkTV interview, which paved the way for his move to Saudi Arabia. Yet he was very complementary of Dalot after being asked whose attitude he admires the most at Old Trafford.

Ronaldo said: "It’s a difficult question because all I can say is what I see from my eyes. If you ask me what I see in Manchester United, I can mention probably Dalot.

"Diogo Dalot is an example. He is young, but he is very, very professional. And I’m not doubting that he’s going to have longevity in football because he’s young, he’s smart, intelligent, and is very professional. You have a few more... but I will say Dalot."

Ronaldo was one of the first superstars to join the Saudi revolution 12 months ago. Al-Nassr went on to sign Marcelo Brozovic, Seko Fofana, Alex Telles, Sadio Mane, Otavio and Aymeric Laporte last summer, but they haven't signed anyone so far this month.
