Dancing On Ice winner 'rumbled' weeks before final as panel left 'speechless'

Dancing On Ice viewers think they already know who will win the ITV series, after an amazing performance on Sunday night.

As hosts Holly Willoughby and Stephen Mulhern got back to proceedings, it was Coronation Street star Claire Sweeney, EastEnders actor Ricky Norwood, Made in Chelsea’s Miles Nazaire, comedian Lou Sanders, Eddie “the Eagle” Edwards and DJ Adele Roberts taking to the ice.

But as one star took to the ice with her pro skating partner, fans spotted a clear winner just two episodes in. Ashley Banjo, Oti Mabuse, Christopher Dean and Jayne Torvill were back on hand with scores and feedback.

The judges were left moved and "speechless" as they praised one couple in particular, even despite a mistake in the routine. It was radio star and I'm A Celebrity star Adele who won viewers over, after an inspiring routine that she and pro skater Mark Hanretty pulled off.

Mark slipped over on the ice at one point, but Adele made no errors at all despite this being her first skate of the series. As it came to an end, the panel were full of praise for how she did and what she brings to the show.

Taking to X, viewers also praised the star with many calling for her to win already. One fan posted: "I want Adele to win," as another said: "@AdeleRoberts to win." A third fan posted: "I want Adele to win."

Meanwhile another comment read: "obsessed with adele doing the best skate the show has ever scene. the new bolero!" as another said: "I’m not crying you’re crying. I’m blown away by Adele." One pairing will be axed from the show on Sunday night after the public vote, with the judges getting the final say.

Last week viewers learned that Ricky Hatton was at risk of leaving the show, after landing in the first skate-off. Six of the contestants performed last Sunday, including Amber Davies, Greg Rutherford, Hannah Spearritt, Ricky, Roxy Shahidi and Ryan Thomas.

However, one of them ended up in the skate-off - whilst the others sailed through to the second week of the ITV skating show. Speaking about being in the skate-off, Ricky said he wasn't surprised as he shared: "I should have never been here, but it's another week of practice. And we'll just practice and hopefully get another chance to make people smile again."
