Ioan Gruffudd engaged to Bianca Wallace two years after Alice Evans split
Ioan Gruffudd has announced his engagement to girlfriend Bianca Wallace - two years after his bitter split from ex-wife Alice Evans.
The duo shared the sweet snap of their engagement on social media. The two beamed with joy as Bianca showed off her engagement ring to the camera. "The most precious thing happened…" Bianca and Ioan captioned the post shared on both of their Instagram pages.
Fans and friends rushed to the comment section to congratulate the two on the happy news. One of Bianca's family members said: "We have a wedding to plan. yayayay so happy for my two favourites!!" while a follower commented: "What immense joy!! All the happiness to you and that together you can do everything you want."
One user added: "Congratulations!!!!! I’m so happy for both of you! My love and best wishes!" while another excited follower wrote: "Eeeeeeeee! My heart literally smiled when I saw this. Sending so much love and wishes of continued happiness to you both. Love wins."

Alice and Ioan met while filming 102 Dalmations and became engaged on New Year's Day in 2006. They married in Mexico in September 2007. The duo share two daughters and have been fighting over custody.

Bianca's romance with Titanic actor Ioan has been quite tricky for the pair following his acrimonious split from his ex-wife Alice, but the happy couple will be able to celebrate Ioan entering the new year as a legally single man, thanks to his divorce finally being finalised earlier this year.
Alice shocked fans and friends in January 2021 when she publicly announced that Ioan had left their family home in Los Angeles on Twitter. She shared at the time: "'Sad news. My beloved husband/soulmate of 20 years, Ioan Gruffudd, has announced he is to leave his family, starting next week. Me and our young daughters girls are very confused and sad. We haven't been given a reason except that he "no longer loves me." I'm so sorry."
The former couple's split quickly turned sour, with King Arthur actor Ioan filing for divorce two months later as Alice shared many of her thoughts on the end of the marriage breakdown on social media. The pair have been embroiled in legal proceedings since then, including Ioan filing a restraining order against his ex-wife and a custody battle over their children.
The Welsh actor and Alice were declared legally divorced on 3rd July last year, over two years from first announcing the decision to end their marriage. Alice and Ioan may no longer be married, but their legal battle is still ongoing. Ioan managed to get a three-year restraining order against Alice in August 2022.
