Charlotte Chilton was among the contestants competing on the latest series of the Traitors, though she was banished at a round table just a couple of episodes before the finale.

The recruitment manager, 32, was a Faithfuls on the second series of the BBC show, which made its debut in 2022. She avoided being 'murdered' by the Traitors during her stint in the castle but ended up being banished in episode nine.

The former contestant received support from fans on social media whilst her episodes aired. She's given them a glimpse into her life off-screen on platforms like Instagram, where she has shared photos and content about herself.

Charlotte often posts about her wife Laura Chilton and has shared that she's been nicknamed "spud" by her spouse. Alongside a recreation of a scene from the Traitors using potatoes, Charlotte said: "This is hilarious but weird because my wife actually calls me spud." Asked how the nickname came to be, she told a fan: "I actually have no idea. It came out of nowhere and stuck somehow."

Their family includes cocker spaniels Lady and Lolly. Charlotte has described herself as a "spaniel mummy" and her two canine companions even have their own joint Instagram page, which states that it is run by her and Laura.

She's also posted about spending time with other relatives, having described her mother as her "best friend" and "rock through all [the] tough times". Whilst she said that her father is the "best," adding: "The only man I will ever need".

Charlotte - who was referred to as a recruitment manager on the Traitors - revealed earlier this month that she was starting a new job, telling her followers: "Wish me luck on my first day in a new job after a lovely 8 day break." Asked how it went, she later said in the comments section: "Amazingly." More recently she posted about attending "client meetings".

Alongside having posted about various holidays and special occasions over the years, Charlotte also once shared that her and Laura responded to a fire in a block of flats. She said in August last year they had received flowers as a result.

She told her followers: "[We] happened [to] be walking past a block of flats in evening (on the way to the pub) and noticed the top floor on fire. We called the emergency services and ran in to help. [....] We got as many people out as we could."

Charlotte said that her wife "focused on the children," whilst she "helped an immobile elderly lady". She said that it was "chaotic" but added: "Everyone got out safe." She added that her and Laura later "recovered" from smoke inhalation.

The Traitors continues next Wednesday (January 24) on BBC One and BBC iPlayer at 9pm. You can catch up on previous episodes now through BBC iPlayer.
