Greggs fan hits jackpot after opening 'dreamy' £5 Too Good To Go bags
The only thing better than one Greggs sausage roll has to be 24 of them.
That's exactly what Ellie Jones received after ordering two £2.59 bags from Too Good To Go - an app that allows users to snap up leftover food from popular retailers that would otherwise be binned. Users can purchase mystery bags for a few quid, but don't know exactly what they'll be getting as it depends on which foods are close to expiring.
Taking to TikTok, Jones shared how the bags (which cost £5.18 collectively) featured more than £60 worth of items inside. At the time of writing, the video has attracted more than 756,000 views and thousands of likes.
The social media user revealed how she had been given a staggering 24 sausage rolls, eight pink doughnuts, four glazed doughnuts, two tuna and cucumber sandwiches, four yum yums, four cheese salad baguettes, one tuna baguette, two gingerbread men and two Belgian buns. She says she picked up the bags from her local Greggs in Worcester town.
Hundreds of viewers took to the comments section, with many hailing the bargain. "This is the dream," one user wrote. Another said: "I work at Greggs and you must have had someone in a good mood to get that much." While a third added: "Wow, you got lucky there!"
Greggs, Costa & Pret coffees have 'huge differences in caffeine', says reportEven Too Good To Go commenting on the generous bags, stating: "What a haul! You're lucky - this looks like an extra generous bag, so great to share with friends/ family." Others pointed out that they had less luck with the app, with one user writing: "All I got in mine was tuna pasta and tuna baguettes."

Last week, one man went viral after his Aldi Too Good To Go bag, which cost just £3.50, featured a whopping 36 blocks of festive cheese. Blair Coles, 27, also received a Korean-style barbecue beef dish with brown rice.
"Cheese just gets better with age," he said, after praising Too Good To Go for 'breaking down the stigma' of best before labels. "I love cheese and crackers, macaroni cheese, anything cheese.
"I've put a load in the freezer, although my girlfriend hates cheese, so she's not impressed. I can't wait to eat it." Coles, a customer service advisor, added that he has left some of the cheese in the fridge for his friends and family, but will donate the rest to the food bank.
