Finding yourself at the front of the queue in Greggs is one of the best feelings going. But what is it like to stand behind the other side of the counter - helping the nation get their fill of sausage rolls?

Well, it might be quite repetitive, based on one employee's account. Posting a hilarious to TikTok, one worker has revealed there's a number of comments customers often make, even if staff wish they would not.

Thankfully, the team member says it is all worth it to get her hands on a discount card - a perk that is sure to be the envy of many.

Shared by @ _hollyoliviax, the clip shows Holly wearing her uniform. She then overlays texts over photos meant to represent customers, to create a 'pov', or point of view, as if the viewer works in Greggs. So what can fans expect to hear during a shift inside the pastry paradise?

"Why've you got no steak bakes out?" asks the first pretend customer, who does not seem very happy. Next up, an older woman asks: "Why is everything so expensive now it was 20p in my day", before a family tells the worker: "The kids are going to order and pay for us today." Last but not least, a youngster says: "Can you let me off 5p I've not got enough?"

"The discount card makes it all worth it," her caption added.

The video racked up over 600,000 views and hundreds of comments, many of which shared their own experiences working in similar roles.

"'Why have you not got any pizza left' at 5pm," read one reply. A second said: "'Can i get a chocolate cookie' 'which one?' 'The chocolate one'".

Someone else wrote: "Omg the kids ordering and paying when the queue is going out the door is the worst". Meanwhile, another commenter quipped: "The discount card makes all the problems go away."
