Meet the 20-year-old woman who lives life as a toddler - playing with toy vegetables, using pacifiers and playing with countless cuddly toys.

Max lives with her partner Johnny, 31, who she regularly calls “daddy” when she is living as a “little”, meaning she acts as a “five-year-old”. The pair live together in Kentucky and spend much of their time in a DDLG (Daddy Dom, Little Girl) relationship, in which Max pretends to be a toddler and Johnny her father- all as part of a BDSM kink that they claim is completely non-sexual.

“In the words of Peter Pan: I never want to grow up. I’m a little and Johnny is my daddy,” Max explains. “My little age is five, which just kind of fits me. I don’t really ever go lower or move higher than that. That’s what I am comfortable with. That’s what I like.” DDLG is a subset of the BDSM world, with one person a dominant caregiver for the other, who acts submissive and like a child.

Regular hobbies for Max, while she is “little”, include jumping about in puddles when visiting the park with her Moana doll, being pushed on the swing, playing with her toy vegetables, playing with all her stuffies and Monster High dolls, or having Johnny read books such as Peppa Pig to her.

Johnny explained to Barcroft TV: “To try and explain this lifestyle in terms of a ‘little’, this lifestyle is kind of like a colouring book where she hands me the lines and I can just fill them in with any colour I want, basically.” Max adds: “We’re both equal.”

Max says she began learning about the subset of BDSM online before she began to do her own digging into the world of DDLG. “I decided to try it out and I’ve just loved it ever since, it’s just me.” In the Barcroft TV video, Max is shown putting on a high voice to imitate a toddler when talking with her partner, while she is taken to the park, plays with her toys, and curls up on her “daddy’s” lap.

She also has a set of rules written out on her wall, including “don’t tell daddy ‘no’”, asking for permission to have sweets, never having tantrums, and using words to “communicate with daddy” when upset. But there isn’t a total separation of Max as a ‘little’ from her adult life - two of the rules read: “Until you get a job, get up at 11am every day”, and “actively search for a job until you get a job”. If she breaks any of the rules, she has to sit in the "naughty corner" facing the wall.

But the couple don’t turn the DDLG relationship sexual. “There are a lot of people in the community that do this sexually,” Max explains. “And I’m not one of those people. This is a completely non-sexual lifestyle for me.”

Max says the pair of them “take care of each other”, and that having the “nurturing aspect to the relationship really makes it strong”. She adds: “I am so vulnerable and so open in little space, that’s where I want to keep it, like, it’s a safe place and it's a place that we share together. My daddy and I are very much in love and this is something we do to strengthen that bond.”
