Selena Gomez's boyfriend Benny Blanco seemingly got escorted off the 2024 Emmys red carpet on Monday night, with the reason unknown.

The Only Murders in the Building starlet, 31, went red carpet official with her new record producer beau Benny Blanco, 35, at the Primetime Emmys this week shortly after they confirmed their whirlwind relationship.

The two love birds were filmed walking together at the 75th Primetime Emmy Awards on Monday night. After initially confirming their romance in December, boyfriend Benny accompanied songstress Selena at the Peacock Theatre in Los Angeles.

And now it has been revealed that amid their red carpet debut at the Emmys, the couple ran into an awkward moment when Benny was seemingly escorted off the red carpet.

In a video shared by E! News on Instagram, which has now been deleted, Benny could be seen standing next to his girlfriend before she was about to walk the red carpet and pose for photos.

The video, which had no sound, saw Benny talking to Selena as she walked towards the red carpet. He could then be seen blowing kisses to his girlfriend as she walked off to pose for photos.

But soon after blowing kisses to the Lose You To Love Me hitmaker, Benny was seen reacting to something someone said, which could not be seen on camera.

Selena was then back in view before the camera panned back to Benny, who could be seen getting escorted off of the red carpet. Benny didn't look bothered as he departed the area, with the reasoning behind his alleged removal still unknown.

This comes after Benny stood to one side as Selena posed for snappers on the red carpet before she reunited with her Only Murders in the Building co-stars Martin Short and Steve Martin.

After chatting with friends at the event, the two got back together before being captured on video walking into the ceremony next to each other. The pop singer confirmed her relationship with music producer Benny earlier last month in December.
