Dianne Buswell fans demand new Strictly partner after dancing with BBC Gladiator
Strictly Come Dancing star Dianne Buswell has got fans in a frenzy after posting a video dancing with a Gladiator backstage at the BBC.
In a behind-the-scenes clip as the new series of Gladiators started last night, Dianne was seen putting Nitro, whose real name is Harry Aikines-Aryeetey, through his paces. Dianne wore a black mini dress, while Nitro was in his full Gladiator’s spandex suit.
Giving him dancing tips, Dianne told Nitro he should look “really awkward, the more awkward the better”. As they twirled around, Nitro looked to be getting the hang of it and said: “I’m light on my feet, you know. I can do this!” In a comment later on, Dianne affectionately christened him “twinkle toes”.
Teasing fans, professional dancer Dianne asked her one million followers: “The dancing gladiator. What’s your score?” And it seems fans are here for a Strictly/Gladiators crossover. One commented: “Ooh you look good together, Strictly beckons Harry AA?” as a second suggested: “Get him on next season!” “Make this happen!” begged a third.

It comes as Dianne, 34, took to Instagram to share loved up snaps with YouTuber boyfriend Joe Suggs, 32, after her Strictly 2023 dance partner described her as the "love of his life".
After missing out on lifting the Glitterball Trophy last month to and Vito Coppola, Dianne and Bobby are ready to go again as they prepare to embark the Strictly live tour later this year.
But Joe can rest assured that Dianne only has eyes for him after sharing several snaps of their recent holiday to Australia, where they spent some quality time with Dianne's family, including her dad mark, who has cancer.

Throughout their Strictly journey, EastEnders star Bobby, who is the son of TV presenter Jeff Brazier and the late Jade Goody, never shied away from showing his affection towards Dianne. He even admitted he "loved" her on Strictly spin-off It Takes Two and called her his "Juliet". This sparked rumours that the pair were set to fall foul of the so-called Strictly curse.
In a recent TikTok, 20-year-old Bobby appeared to have reignited speculation by posting a video declaring: "As you all know, Dianne is the love of my life. So this morning, I'm baking her some carrot muffins that she fancies."
He then showed a brief clip of him pushing a cart through the aisles of . After making the muffins, which he forgot to film, he joked about feeling tired from all the baking. The clip ended with Dianne and the crew trying his homemade muffins, which she called "very, very good." Although she has never directly responded to the rumours, Dianne has subtly hit back with loved up photos with Joe, proving her and Bobby’s relationship is purely platonic.
