Sean 'Diddy' Combs will not be attending the 2024 Grammy Awards, despite being nominated for the Best Progressive R&B Album.

The rapper has made the decision to skip next month's award show after he was accused by four women of sexual assault. He has vehemently denied the allegations. P Diddy is up for an award at the February 4 ceremony, with his album The Love Album: Off the Grid in the running for an award.

The 54-year-old won't be attending the ceremony due to the severity of the allegations against him. Back in November, less than a week after the nominations were announced, singer Cassie sued her ex-boyfriend and alleged he subjected her to physical and sexual abuse during their decade-long relationship.

A representative for the rapper told The Hollywood Reporter Diddy was still invited to the Grammys, but has decided to turn down the invitation himself.

The announcement comes after a fourth lawsuit was filed against Combs last month for sexual assault. The latest claimant, known as Jane Doe, alleges in her lawsuit that in 2003 she was "sex trafficked" and "gang raped" by Combs, Harve Pierre, the then-president of Bad Boy Records and a third unnamed person. She was 17 years old at the time.

Combs denied the allegations in a statement on social media. "Enough is enough. For the last couple of weeks, I have sat silently and watched people try to assassinate my character, destroy my reputation, and my legacy," he said.

The musician continued: "Sickening allegations have been made against me by individuals looking for a quick payday. Let me be absolutely clear: I did not do any of the awful things being alleged. I will fight for my name, my family, and for the truth."

In documents obtained by The Mirror, the lawsuit alleges that Jane Doe met the trio in a lounge near Detroit, Michigan. The lawsuit alleges Combs "convinced" the woman to accompany them on a private jet to New York City.

They allegedly flew to Teterboro, New Jersey, and were driven to Daddy's House Recording Studio, owned and operated by Combs and his company Bad Boy Records. Throughout the night the alleged victim was given drugs and alcohol where the suit states she was "more and more inebriated, eventually to the point that she could not possibly have consented to having sex with anyone, much less someone twice her age."

In the suit, Jane Doe provided photos of her and Combs in his studio during the night of the alleged assault. The suit claims that while in the studio she was raped by the three men and forced to give Pierre oral sex. She then reportedly was taken back to the airport and put on a plane back to Michigan.

The first suit filed against Combs was by singer Cassie, legal name Cassandra Ventura. According to court documents obtained by The Mirror, Combs "lured Ms. Ventura into an ostentatious, fast-paced, and drug-fuelled lifestyle, and into a romantic relationship with him" after she was signed to his record label, Bad Boy Records. The case was settled the day after it was filed for an undisclosed amount.

A second lawsuit was filed by Joi Dickerson-Neal who claimed that Combs "intentionally" drugged her during a dinner together when she was a student at Syracuse University in 1991. The third suit was filed by another Jane Doe, who claimed Combs raped her and choked her until she passed out.

The Mirror wouldn't normally ID victims of alleged sexual assault but Cassie and Dickerson-Neal have publicly spoken out.
