Geordie Shore's Holly Hagan exposes reason behind Charlotte's exit from show
When it emerged that Charlotte Crosby had quit Geordie Shore after 12 years on the reality TV show, the mum of one led fans to believe that it was due to a string of arguments.
But that does not appear to be the full story as her fellow co-star Holly Hagan-Blyth, 31, has now revealed that during filming, Charlotte was a complete diva. Speaking to the Mirror Holly, who is also a mum of one, explained that the group had flown to Cyprus to film the upcoming series of Geordie Shore while she was heavily pregnant - and says it was "horrendous."
And while her cast mates had secretly been expecting her to be highly-strung, it was Charlotte, who at five months pregnant at the time, was the "absolute nightmare." In response to James Tindale saying, "I actually think you did a really good job. This is one series where you complained the least", Holly responded saying, "I tell you why that is, is because Charlotte was an absolute nightmare."
She added: "Everyone thought I was going to be an absolute nightmare but I was absolutely fine. But yeah, it was tough {heavily pregnant] but it was nice to get the end result. But it would have been nice to party to party with everyone."
When asked if she could elaborate further on Charlotte's diva antics, she continued: "She was just a damsel in distress the whole time but you're only like 20 weeks pregnant, most people don't even announce til later but yeah, she definitely milked it, it its nice to milk it though isn't it?" But it seems Holly's sentiment was shared by James who chimed in: "When Charlotte was pregnant she literally had her own section in the villa."

And it was at this point James jokingly said: "I'm surprised she didn't have maids if I'm honest." Soon after Charlotte, who is now engaged to her partner Jake, left the show "for good", she claimed that her decision was made over a number of arguments with various members of the cast.
Speaking on her podcast Always On, she said: "I'm sad for loads of reasons. I'm sad that I took Alba and Jake, my family, into a show that I loved so much and it went so badly wrong. I feel like I could cry talking about it. I felt an immense amount of guilt for not knowing better. I just thought we were going to have such a good time."
She added: "There was a silly argument, over a high chair of all things, that escalated. And I just left. I just needed to get out of that environment. I'd never raised my voice in front of Alba ever, and I did in this argument, and I was like, 'Oh God, I feel absolutely terrible.' I've never gotten that angry and wound up."
She tearfully continued: "As a mam, you feel so guilty. I was riddled with guilt. I felt anxious, I felt guilty. I think in the weeks I came out of the show I just felt awful. I was so worried. Had I made a bad decision going in there with my family? For that reason, I definitely don't think I could be involved going forward again, which is so sad. It's not because of any particular person, and it's not because I wouldn't go back because I don't want to be with them."
Holly confirmed that one of the arguments was with Marnie over cereal being on a high chair at the villa. But Holly claimed that the only reason things escalated between the pair was due to the size of the villa being small and cramped. Holly added in her interview with the Mirror: "It was just a silly argument over some cereal on a high chair but it gets like that because the villas that we were in were really small and there were so many people in our villa in a tiny, tiny area."
She went on to say: "All of the kids had to be in an area that is no bigger than the room that I'm in now and all the kids had to be in there at the same time when we weren't filming otherwise, they couldn't just go out in the garden and play on their own. So it was just a really hectic environment anyway." And as a close friend of Charlotte and the cousin of Marnie, it looks as though their feud has placed Sophie Kasaei in the middle.
She said in the interview: "Yeah obviously, in a friendship group it is hard and I just hope one day we can all be in the same room as each other which is going to happen. There is going to be one day that I'm getting married or engagement party, we've got all that to come so there will have to be a time the girls will have to be in the same room at the same time. "
She continued: "But I am in the middle of it all, especially when you're filming and when you've got everyone judging and everyone having their opinions. I'm still going to be best friends with both of them, I would never pick a side, ever. And i just hope that one day this can all be put to bed."
The new series of Geordie Shore premieres on 9th January on Paramount+ UK and MTV
