The MSI Claw gaming handheld has been announced at CES 2024 after being teased last week, and it's the first of its kind, thanks to its Intel graphics.

With some of the best gaming handhelds hitting the market in the last 12 months, MSI has now thrown its hat into the ring with the brand-new MSI Claw. After teasing the handheld on social media last week, stating that further details will be coming at CES 2024, the gaming hardware company has finally confirmed that it's launching a new gaming handheld early this year, and it will feature an Intel processor and GPU.

We know the device will have an Intel Core Ultra 7 processor 155H paired with Intel Arc Graphics, which suggests that it has a separate graphics chip or card. Other gaming handhelds, such as the Steam Deck OLED or Asus ROG Ally feature an all-in-one AMD APU, which handles both central and graphics processing, making the MSI Claw the first of its kind.

The MSI Claw also features a 7-inch 1080p display, with a refresh rate of up to 120Hz, which is the same as the Asus ROG Ally. This means we can likely be expecting a similar level of performance - however, it's hard to know this before getting the device in hand due to the new Intel chip it contains.

So far we don't have confirmation of the MSI Claw price, but we're sure that this information will be announced as the rest of the CES event goes on. This is also the case for the MSI Claw release date, with the company stating that the device will be released early this year but an exact date is yet to be confirmed.
