Katherine Ryan dubs Disneyland Paris a 'trash high street' with vaping parents

Comedian Katherine Ryan has slammed Disneyland Paris as a 'trash high street' after taking her family there for Christmas.

The Canadian-born star, 40, criticised the park's Disney Village, claiming that everyone there was vaping and smoking cigarettes while close to their children. The comedian and actress has sworn off ever going back to Disneyland Paris after the bad experience and even likened the venue to a 'trash high street'.

"Everyone was vaping and smoking actual cigarettes whilst pushing a buggy or holding a child's hand. I've never seen so much vaping in my life," she claimed. Katherine was also disappointed by the lack of characters she met at the park and complained: "I asked, "Where are all the characters?" It seemed very barren. We saw Jessie from Toy Story and the chipmunks and that was it."

Katherine recollected how the situation used to be different during her past visit in 2011, telling Mail Online: "When I took my daughter Violet there in 2011, there were loads of characters." Ultimately, Katherine concluded her Disneyland experience was nothing worth it, as she insisted: "I did not have a nice time."

Her disastrous trip to Disneyland Paris comes after Katherine recently revealed that she's tempted to have a facelift, a boob job and liposuction despite her operations fears. Katherine has joked in the past about having extensive plastic surgery but in real life the star has only been under the knife once - when she was just 20 years old.

However, after she recently turned 40, the TV personality has revealed that she plans to have more work work done which includes liposuction and a facelift. In a recent interview the mum of three explained: "I haven't had anywhere near as much plastic surgery as I joke about. It's like Jimmy Carr started joking that I had plastic surgery and then I would just go along with it."

"It was funny. But, realistically, I'm 40 now. As I get older, why not have a facelift at some point? I think I would like it. My boobs probably need redoing. I'd like to get liposuction because they have this science now where they can take any fat from your body and use it to put it back. So, they put it in your bum or they put it in your face."

The Canadian born star had breast implants at the tender age of 20 after saving her earnings while working at the restaurant chain called Hooters. But one thing that is delaying the star from going under the knife - is her fear over choosing the wrong surgeon.

Speaking onKathy Burke'spodcast, Where There's A Will There's A Wake, Katherine continued: "I was learning that a footballer's wife sadly died doing that. Because the doctor didn't know what he was doing, and he punctured her bowel like nine times. So, I hear stories like this, and I think I'm just stupid enough to go and do it anyway. I think it's tricky to know. You think you do all your research, and you know who's above the board, but anyone can have a bad day."
