Calling people on Roblox – speak to friends in game using Roblox Connect

Roblox is already many players’ preferred way to be social with one another, letting them share in the experience of playing thousands of user-generated games and content whether on PC, Xbox and now PlayStation. Earlier this year, however, a new function was added called Roblox Connect, functioning as a video chat interface of sorts that lets friends call each other as their own in-game avatars. If you want to know how to call people on Roblox using Roblox Connect and are curious as to how it functions, the process is relatively simple.
Before finding out how to call people on Roblox using Roblox Connect, it’s worth pointing out that, at least right now, players can only do so if their account is voice-enabled (either via phone or ID verification). Players using Roblox Connect also must be over 13-years-old. If you’re a Roblox player who meets both of these requirements, you’ll be eligible to start calling your Roblox friends using the newly added Roblox Connect feature.
How to call people on Roblox using Roblox Connect
Roblox Connect is currently available to use on iOS and Android mobile devices, as well as desktop. The official Roblox help site says that other platforms will be supported soon (sorry console players). For now, however, if you want to know how to call people on Roblox and play on either mobile or PC, here’s a step-by-step guide on how Roblox Connect works.
1. Log into Roblox, search for Roblox Connect, and then download the program.

2. After you have Roblox Connect downloaded, make sure you select the option to “enable your camera and microphone”.
3. You’ll see a button that says “call a friend” appear at the bottom of the screen. Click it.
4. From here, go to your friend list and click the “start a call” icon in the top-right of the side menu where your recent calls are displayed.
5. This will bring a search bar where you can enter the name of anyone on your friends list and choose to call them.
6. You and the friend will then enter a virtual space where you get to talk to each other within Roblox as your in-game avatars.
While it’s cool to see one-on-one voice chat finally available via Roblox Connect, just bear in mind that currently the feature isn’t useable in any other game or program. This means you won’t be able to speak to one another within such classic Roblox games as, say, Fashion Famous or Adopt Me. That said, if all you want to do is speak to one another virtually, you’re sorted. Calling people on Roblox using Roblox Connect couldn’t be easier.
