In the images shared with Rosie's 100,000 Instagram followers, the star's husband Ben Stacey can be seen sitting on a cream couch inside their family home as a female paramedic tends to him.

"He was sent home this morning but the pain worsened and we had to call an ambulance. He’s being admitted and treated. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. Grateful for the NHS. Hoping my Eric is looking after him while I get some shut eye after a long night."

Rosie, who married gym owner Ben in 2013, was flooded with love and support after sharing the worrying update on social media, with one of her followers writing: "Blimey, that sounds terrible, and thankfully it looks like he's got the help that he needs? We're SO lucky that we have a National Health Service on call that can help us when we need it, and it really should be protected at ALL costs!"

"Ahh so sorry to hear this rosie," another began when writing to Rosie underneath her latest Instagram post. "I hope your husband gets well really soon. Yes our Nhs are wonderful. We are very lucky to have them . Sending my best wishes to you all," they added to their message.

Rosie and Ben tied the knot in Las Vegas in March 2013 and announced Rosie was pregnancy one year on from their wedding day. The Holby City star discovered she was with child just two days before starting IVF treatment following months of trying to conceive and suffering a miscarriage.

"It was an amazing feeling, crazy. Literally 48 hours before I started injections. I was pregnant," Rosie exclaimed to HELLO! magazine at the time of announcing her happy news. "I had done so many pregnancy tests during the eight months we'd been trying hard for a baby that I fully expected it to come back negative as it always did."

Rosie and Ben welcomed daughter Beau Marcel Stacey, weighing 6lb 10oz into the world on 21st January 2015, but their baby girl's arrival wasn't smooth sailing. Rosie was forced to have a caesarean because of a rare blood disorder and at one point had a team of 10 people looking after her during Beau's birth process.
