Linda Robson teases fans with potential reunion with Birds of a Feather co-star
Loose Women star Linda Robson has teased fans that she could one day reunite with her Birds of a Feather co-star.
The sitcom Birds of a Feather, which first aired in 1989, saw Linda play Tracey Stubbs, alongside her on-screen sister Sharon Theodopolopodous played by Pauline Quirke whilst Lesley played their neighbour Dorien Green. Birds of a Feather ran for 12 seasons, with the last episode being a special that aired in December 2020 with Tracey and Dorien coping with lockdown amid the Covid-19 pandemic.
Now Linda has teased fans of the show that she and pal Lesley Joseph may reunite to create a new TV show, especially after their success during BBC's Race Across Yorkshire.
Speaking to Woman Magazine, the actress revealed: "I'm hoping to do a series with Lesley [...] It is sort of in the pipeline now. We did Race Across Yorkshire together and the BBC were very pleased with how we interacted, so they're trying to get something together for us, which would be really nice." She then added what the ideal programme would be as she shared: "A reality series doing a bucket list, or things to do before we die."
The friends have a strong relationship, including spending time together on holiday earlier this year. Linda shared snaps from their summer vacation together to Instagram as she wrote: "Beautiful trip away with my best mate Les #westendboys."
EastEnders' Jake Wood's snap of son has fans pointing out the pair's likenessIn the past there have been rumours about a 'feud' between Linda and her former co-star Pauline Quirke, but the pair put an end to the gossip when they met up for a reunion lunch alongside Lesley in London in the summer. Linda shared a snap of the trio to her Instagram with the caption: "A lovely lunch with my beautiful friends in the @thedelaunay."
Addressing the supposed rift, Linda previously told The Mirror: "People say Pauline and I have fallen out. Obviously I couldn't see her during lockdown but I've seen her since. She just doesn't want to act anymore. She's had enough - it's long hours."
Aside from reunions with co-stars, Linda also recently had to hit back at rumours that she died, and instead proved to fans she's alive and kicking. Responding to the fake death hoax, the 65-year-old actress joked with fans after she shared an Instagram video of her acting as if she was dead and coming back to life, alongside creepy music.
Showing her sense of humour, the actress has joked with fans as she captioned the clip "Woke up to lots of messages and calls, apparently there has been a rumour I had passed away going around. You won’t get rid of me that easy!"
