Ten Hag 'risks being embarrassed' in Man Utd dressing room ahead of decision
Dwight Yorke has told Erik ten Hag he must resolve his row with Jadon Sancho at Manchester United to avoid any negativity in the dressing room.
Yorke suggested that a different approach might have been better, hinting at a possible exit for the winger. Sancho, who fell out with Ten Hag following a row in September, is still not participating in first-team activities due to his refusal to apologise.
The argument between the pair started when Ten Hag dropped Sancho, 23, for the 3-1 loss at Arsenal for his "performances in training". The player hit back at his manager on social media by describing himself as a "scapegoat" and disputing the training claims.
Sancho is expected to leave United during the January transfer window, most likely on loan, if the disagreement continues. However, Ten Hag has hinted the England international could return to the squad if he says sorry.
Yorke has urged Ten Hag to take action to end the bitter saga. "The manager has to sort those situations out and he needs to do what he needs to do to make sure he saves his own back and is not embarrassed," the ex-striker told Stocklytics.io.

"If that's the case with Sancho, then I'd get rid of him and keep him away from the dressing room. I wouldn't want him there if he's still pals with the players who are in my squad."
Some United players have advised Sancho to swallow his pride and apologise to Ten Hag to resurrect his chances at United. Yorke is concerned that talk between Sancho and his team-mates while the dispute is going on could result in him being undermined.

Yorke, who played for United under Sir Alex Ferguson between 1998 and 2002, added: "Players can be friends with whoever they want to be outside of the training ground, but if I'm trying to get the best out of my squad, then I wouldn't want him around.
"The club needs to sort this out one way or another. It'll continue to manifest if nothing is done as Sancho will still be mates with some players.
"I would manage that situation differently. I have been a player and I know how things work in the dressing room. Those players will be laughing and joking with Sancho every day - I used to do that when I was a player. Situations like this aren't good for morale."
