17 celebrities who have had the 'coveted' cake from Tom Cruise for Christmas
Tom Cruise is known to send a cake to former colleagues and celebrity pals each Christmas, with various people having said that they have received the festive treat.
The actor, 61, is believed to send a white chocolate and coconut bundt cake from Doan's Bakery in Woodland Hills, California, to those on his list each year. These cakes are priced at around $126 each (approximately £100) currently.
He's spoken about sending treats to pals and colleagues in the past. Tom - whose acting credits include the Mission: Impossible film series, which he also produces - stated once: "I like to send people cakes and stuff like that."

It's understood to be a coconut bundt cake from a bakery in the US (Instagram)He continued whilst on the Late Late Show with James Corden back in 2018: "I love sugar but I can't eat it because [I have to train for films]. So I send it to everyone [including the stunt team]. And I wait for the calls like 'tell me about it'."

Tom is said to have sent cakes to various people over the years, including colleagues behind the scenes on his films. A number of celebrities have even spoken out about getting the cake, with some having previously worked with him.
Amid the latest holiday season, we've taken a look at just some of the celebrities who have said that they are, or at least have been, on the list for the festive treat. They aren't the only apparent recipients of the coconut cake though.
Rosie O'Donnell
Rosie O'Donnell has suggested that she's on the list for the festive treat in posts on social media (Bruce Glikas/WireImage)Tom has known comedian Rosie O'Donnell for years, having even been interviewed by her on occasions. At times, she's discussed their relationship and said on SiriusXM in 2021: "He has never missed my birthday or an event in my life."
Rosie suggested they aren't particularly close though, and said she doesn't have his home phone number. However, she's understood to receive the festive cake each year and has shared photos of the special delivery on Instagram.
This included last year, when she posted a photo of the cake and a gift tag that came with it on the platform. The message, said to have been sent by Tom, that accompanied the treat read: "Warmest wishes to you this holiday season."
Angela Bassett

Vance the cake whilst alongside her on the Late Late Show with James Corden in 2018. He had worked with Angela on the film Mission: Impossible - Fallout (2018) and starred alongside Courtney in The Mummy (2017).
Whilst discussing the gift on the CBS talk show, Tom said to his former co-star Angela: "I sent it to you and Courtney." She responded by telling him: "But only I ate it." Angela also teased that Tom, who has suggested that he doesn't eat the cake himself, lives "vicariously" through those who receive it.
Angela - who has seemingly continued to get the cake - said on the Kelly Clarkson Show last year that she's now such a fan of the cake that her and Courtney had a three-tiered version for their 25th wedding anniversary party last year.
Tom Hanks

The former has spoken about receiving the cake once a year on a few occasions, including during an interview on Virgin Radio UK earlier this month.
He said: "I'm not the only one [who gets it]. Mr Cruise, god bless him, sends this out to an awful lot of people." He said that it's "the most delicious cake," after previously sharing that it's "so great you can really only have it once a year".

And further sharing his thoughts to radio host Chris Evans, Tom added in the interview: "Look, I have type-2 diabetes, so I have to be careful of my sugar intake, but I let it go when it comes to [his] cake. You gotta have some of that."
Raymond Lee

He teased that he received the cake from his former co-star whilst appearing alongside fellow actor Angela on the Kelly Clarkson Show last year.
He told host Kelly Clarkson: "It is the most delicious cake. It is up to the standard of Tom Cruise standards." Raymond described the cake as "so good," before footage was shown of the seasonal gift on his doorstep following its arrival.
Discussing its arrival, he said in the interview that when he opened his front door "there was no one there" and just a package containing the cake. Raymond then teased: "It was as if he dropped by like on a jetpack and just flew away."
Kirsten Dunst
Kirsten Dunst has teased that the cake gets eaten quite quickly after it arrives at her home (GETTY)It's been around three decades since Kirsten Dunst worked with Tom on Interview with the Vampire (1994), though she's believed to be on his gift list. She confirmed that she gets her former co-star's festive cake in an interview once.
Whilst on the Graham Norton Show in 2016, she shared: "He gives me a cake every Christmas." Kirsten added: "It's the best coconut cake I've ever had in my life." She teased that it usually gets "devoured" within hours of delivery.
As reported by the likes of Metro, Kirsten previously spoke about being a recipient of the annual cake in an interview with Stylist magazine a year earlier. She's quoted as having told the outlet: "I call it the Cruise cake. It's so good."
Cobie Smulders

She described the cake as "delicious" and teased at the time that she was "so grateful" to be among those who receive it. Cobie continued: "If you're lucky enough to be on this list [Tom sends you a] white chocolate coconut cake."
The actor went on to tease that she makes the cake last for months after it's delivered. Cobie said: "It's so good. I leave it in my freezer and it lasts until like March." She further commented: "Like I just slowly chip away at this thing."
Jimmy Fallon

Asked if he was on the star-studded list by the guest, the host replied: "I totally get the Tom Cruise cake."
He then explained to the audience: "[Tom] will send you a cake during the holidays [if you're on the list]." Sharing his thoughts about the gift, Jimmy - who has interviewed the actor on several occasions - said it's "unbelievable."
Cobie at one point commented: "It's so good. I don't know why ... I'm not even a big sweets person but it's so good." The talk show host suggested in response that he could relate, with him saying: "I'm not either ... but it's Tom Cruise."
Elle Fanning

During an interview with Access Hollywood in 2020, Elle described Tom as "the nicest guy". She said that he still sends Dakota birthday presents and further commented: "We get a coconut cake from him for Christmas every year."
The actor reiterated that she's on the list last year. After a shout-out from Tom at the Cannes Film Festival, she told People magazine: "We get the coconut cake that he sends, which I know Kirsten Dunst said she gets one, as well."
Alex Zane

It's even been suggested that they're friends and the former has shared that he's on the annual "cake list".
He said the Happy Hour podcast in 2020: "[Tom sends a cake] to people he's worked with and friends as a gift every Christmas. [...] I made it onto that f***ing list. So I get a cake every year from [Tom]." Alex said that the cake is "gorgeous".
And he revealed that he's still on the list earlier this month when he posted on Instagram about having received the cake. Alongside photos of the delivery, he wrote: "A huge thank you to the legend [Tom] for this truly delicious cake."
Pom Klementieff

She teased: "I freeze it and then I eat it frozen, so I just eat it every day. That's what I did last year for Christmas. I started it when I got it and I ate it every morning, so I had a sugar rush. It was not good for my health but it was delicious."
Jay Ellis

The actor commented: "We get the cake every year. It's always a surprise when you get it like cause you're so excited to get it and you wanna make sure you're still on the gift list." He went on to discuss eating it once on Christmas Day.
He told host Jennifer Hudson that he spent it in Mexico with his family, but that he was away working when the cake first arrived. Jay said: "[So] we froze the cake, we took it to Mexico, thawed it out and we had it on Christmas Day."
Glen Powell

He spoke about it whilst a guest on the Jennifer Hudson Show towards the end of last year.
He stated that his former co-star Tom sends a cake "every holiday" to certain people, describing it as an "amazing tradition." Further sharing his thoughts, Glen commented on the show: "It's the most delicious cake you've ever had."
The actor said that his friends that have tried it "love it so much" that they contact him in early December to ask if it's arrived. Glen teased that he now hosts a "cake party" for it, adding: "I'll invite people over to try a bite or two [of it]."
Renée Zellweger

It has since been suggested that her former co-star includes her on his list for the annual festive treat, like others that he's worked with.
Her inclusion on the list was mentioned on the Graham Norton Show in 2019. When it was suggested at one point that Renée was on the list, she was seen nodding, and she later shared her thoughts on what the cake tastes like.
The actor said on the BBC show: "It's a nice cake. Yeah it is." Renée went on to tease that she could receive the cake again that year, telling host Graham Norton: "I'll call you when mine comes next year [so you know to expect yours']."
Graham Norton

The presenter however teased that he hadn't known about it.
During the interview with guest Renée, he asked: "Are you still on [Tom's] cake list?" The actor responded by teasing that Graham is on the list, to which he responded: "I didn't know we were on the Tom Cruise cake list until today."
"I was talking about [Renée] being on the cake list and somebody said 'oh yeah we get a cake from Tom every year' and I went 'do we?' I've never seen the bloody cake," he said. Graham said he's been told that it's "the nicest cake".
Jon Hamm

He's since shared that he receives his former colleague's gift each year and even teased that he was on the list before working on the film.
Asked if he's on the list for the festive cake, Jon told Dish Nation during an interview at one of the film's premieres just last year: "I'm on the list." He went on to state that he is "very proud" to be on the list for the coconut cake.
The actor - best known for his role on the AMC series Mad Men - continued by sharing that he was actually on the list before he worked with Tom on the film. He commented: "I predate the movie so somewhow I got on that list."
Henry Cavill

The actor said: "Tom sends a Christmas cake ... I heard about this coconut cake and then one day I received said coconut cake." He told Jimmy Kimmel that it came with the message: "Happy Christmas Henry, from Tom Cruise."
He added on the ABC show: "Which is really cool by the way." Henry continued by describing the cake as "luxurious" and said that although initially hesistant to eat it, when he did end up cutting into it, he "then ate the whole thing".
Brooke Shields

She's suggested that she was on the list both before and after Tom's split from Katie Holmes in 2012.
The actor - who appeared alongside Tom in his film debut Endless Love (1981) - told People magazine: "I was on the list for a while. I had a good 10-year run, and I got the coconut cake every year, which I was very happy [about]."
According to the outlet, she's not sure "what happened" in recent years that got her off the list, but Brooke teased that she wants to "get back on" it. She said "it's the best cake," teasing at the time: "Tom, I need to be back on the cake list."
