PS Plus January 2024 Essential includes indie hit Nobody Saves the World
Sony has confirmed the first batch of PS Plus games for 2024 with Evil West, A Plague Tale: Requiem, and Nobody Saves the World making up the PS Plus January 2024 Essential games.
The PS Plus January 2024 Essential games lineup is celebrating the launch of 2024 by giving away three of 2022's best and brightest, headed up by the indie hit Nobody Saves the World. Coming from Guacamelee developer DrinkBox Studios, Nobody Saves the World is an action RPG dungeon crawler in which you take the role of a nobody and (as the title implies) save the world. You can take the form of a slug, an egg, or just a naked man and become the saviour of humanity.
Also arriving in the PS Plus January 2024 Essential games batch is A Plague Tale: Requiem which was nominated for five awards at The Game Awards 2022, including Game of the Year (losing out to Elden Ring, which isn't really a fair fight for anyone). Rounding out the trio is Evil West, which was more of a cult hit. You take the role of a vampire hunting cowboy as you shoot and punch your way through the oncoming hordes to save the USA. The game feels like a lost Xbox 360 game, so for those of you who yearn for that era, it's well worth picking up.
