A man is seeking advice after admitting he is unable to satisfy his personal trainer wife in the bedroom. Writing to Abigail Van Buren, the columnist behind the renowned ‘Dear Abby’ column on nypost.com, he shared how he has been married to ‘the most amazing woman’ for the last 30 years.

He went on to detail that she had become a personal trainer and was in ‘incredible shape.” He also admitted that he wasn’t in the same kind of shape as her and couldn’t: ‘Perform too well sexually, even with ED (erectile dysfunction) meds.”

With the man aware of his wife’s frustration at the burgeoning bedroom situation, he admitted in his letter how she had asked him if she could have her: “Sexual needs taken care of by a young client she trains.”

He also detailed that while he was at ease with her request and sympathetic to her desires, it was only: “As long as she doesn’t fall in love.”

After asking 'Dear Abby' for her thoughts, she made her stance on his tricky sexual situation clear. “The three of you are adults and capable of making your own decisions,” she said, before adding: ‘But I am hesitant to bless this because it is so risky. Make sure to iron out all of the variables that may occur.”

She then outlined the potential pitfalls in the personal trainer / client scenario: “She might fall in love with her client; he may fall in love with her. (Or not.) If he decides to move on, what will the effect be on her and you?” before urging the man to ‘think long and hard’ before agreeing to this arrangement.””
