Chloe Madeley and James Haskell are gearing up to spend Christmas together despite the pair's split earlier this year.

They went their separate ways only a few weeks ago, but the two, who tied the knot in 2018, are reuniting for the festive holidays. Chloe, daughter of TV's Richard Madeley, insists the two still co-parent "really well" and will celebrate December 25 together.

Enjoying their second Christmas with daughter Bodhi, who they welcomed in August last year, the former couple also hope to continue filming their reality TV show, Chloe Madeley: A Family Affair. They've also shared plans for a child-free night out soon.

"I've already booked all of the adults in our family to see The Nutcracker. We're all spending Christmas together, and James will be there," she told Heat. "We've also pitched [a second series of A Family Affair] and are waiting to hear.

"While it'll be focused primarily on me, everyone will still be involved, [my] parents and James because we co-parent very well." Chloe and rugby ace James began dating in 2014 before getting engaged back in April 2018 in romantic Paris.

The two called it quits earlier this year after five years of marriage, in a statement they said: "Our sole focus now is our beautiful daughter. We shall continue to co-parent with nothing but love." It comes after the two put on a united front as they reunited for a family dinner only a few days ago. James shared a selfie with Chloe and Bodhi at the dinner.

He captioned the post: "Team meal out." Fans rushed to the comment section to praise the stars for their co-parenting. "Co-parenting is awkward and hard but they are still doing it with dignity and respect and that's a very important message to spread. Well done guys, your little girl will thank you later on," one user posted.

Another added: "Well done, I have no idea how you are doing this. Team co-parenting the right way," while one impressed person commented: "Clearly just two people doing what they need to for the most important little person in the photo. Fair play to you both."

It comes after James took aim at his estranged wife as he appeared on stage to broadcast the final leg of his World Cup Afterparty: The Good, The Bad and The Ugly rugby podcast tour. Joined by co-hosts Mike Tindall and Alex Payne, 38-year-old James told fans in Bath his ex was "unreasonable, overly critical and insensitive, and unfair in arguments".

He went on to joke that he was hiding his money in an offshore bank account to avoid a hefty payout when the pair eventually divorce. He used Mike, the husband of Princess Anne's daughter, Zara- as the catalyst for a not-so-subtle dig at Chloe. "Mike's personality, actually as Zara told us, is 'annoyingly honest Mike'," he began.

"He sounds like a great person, but he's not. He comes out after eight bottles of rosé and three bottles of red wine. Then he basically tells you everything that you have ever done wrong and where you have gone wrong with complete disregard for any sensitivity - or anything he has ever done wrong - and also is completely out of context. And he won't be reasoned with and he will not be argued with, right... sounds like my wife actually." He finished the gag: "Ex-wife actually. No. It's not official yet. Don't put that in the papers!"
