This will no doubt make the long wait for GTA 6 go down a little smoother, sitting neatly alongside PS Plus Essential December 2023’s trio of free titles to maintain the gaming greatness this festive season. The PS Plus Extra and Premium December 2023 release time is now just around the corner.
This marks the very first time that GTA 5 has appeared in any sort of PS Plus offering. Its inclusion on the PS Plus Extra and Premium tier specifically means it can eventually be taken away, of course, but that’s not likely for a long while yet. In my mind, this makes this month’s lineup just as enticing as Xbox Game Pass, which Rockstar Games' latest crime-em-up has appeared on several times.

The PS Plus Extra and Premium December 2023 games will be released on Tuesday, December 19 at 10am GMT / 5am EST / 2am PST.
This is exactly when the December PS Plus games lineup will be available to download on either your PS4 or PS5.
