The duo performed a samba to The Hues Corporation's Rock The Boat but received a measly 15 points from the judges and was eliminated after judges unanimously voted to save Nikita Kanda and Gorka Márquez in the dreaded dance-off.

During the second week, Nikia and Gorka were eliminated after performing Kids in America during Movie Week. They received 21 points, which wasn't enough to impress the judges. They performed against Love Island's very own Zara McDermott and Graziano Di Prima.

Things were ramping up and by week four, Jody Cundy and Jowita Przystał along with Eddie Kadi and partner Karen Hauer landed in the bottom two. Unfortunately, Jody was voted off the competition after earning 19 points from the judges. One day later, Amanda Abbington - who was partnered with Giovanni Pernice - withdrew from the competition.

Rumours of a feud were brewing about the two for weeks, and things got worse when she snubbed him in a heartfelt post about the show. After landing in the bottom two, Eddie was unfortunately the next to be voted off after receiving 24 points. Love Island's Zara was next to be eliminated, but she wasn't bothered as it gave her the perfect opportunity to support her boyfriend Sam Thompson in I'm A Celebrity.

In early November, Waterloo Road's Adam Thomas didn't make the cut and, a week later, Channel 4 News presenter Krishnan Guru-Murthy left the series. The two Angela's, Angela Rippon and Angela Scanlon were the next two to get eliminated before another star withdrew from the series.

Actor Nigel Harman was forced to pull out from the show during the Quarterfinal after suffering a nasty injury, but he returned on Saturday along with other 2023 cast members. Annabel Croft was the final person to be eliminated alongside her dance partner Johannes Radebe. The final three left in the game were Bobby Brazier, Ellie Leach and fan and judge favourite Layton Williams.
