What UK time is UFC 296 tonight? Start time for Paddy Pimblett and Leon Edwards

Leon Edwards looks to silence bitter rival Colby Covington at UFC 296 tonight whilst Paddy Pimblett is also in action on the card.

The UFC’s final pay-per-view event takes place at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas and is headlined by Edwards’ welterweight title defence against Covington. Another world title fight takes place in the co-main event as flyweight beltholder Alexandre Pantoja faces Brandon Royal.

Pimblett returns to the cage for the first time since his controversial decision win against Jared Gordon last December. The Scouser has been sidelined since that fight because of a foot injury but looks to make an emphatic return against UFC legend Tony Ferguson, who hasn't won a fight in over four years. So here’s all you need to know about tonight’s fights…

What time is the Leon Edwards vs Colby Covington fight?

The welterweight title clash between Edwards and Covington is expected to take place around 5am UK time. Pimblett should be walking to the cage for his fight against Ferguson at around 3:30am whilst Garry’s fight against Luque will take place just after 3am. All fight times are subject to change.

Edwards: "“Everyone knows he’s playing like a character. It’s easier to take someone like that as a joke. That’s what I’m able to do, take it as it is. He’s a clown and I’m going to treat him as such. “He's not as good as everyone thinks. He's a normal fighter that's more scrappy. Me and the team came up with a great game plan to neutralize what he's good at."

Covington: “I’m in my prime, the delay has been other fighters not agreeing to fights. You think I want to sit out for 18-months? It’s not my fault that I’ve sat out for this long. I wouldn’t be in this position if it wasn’t for me being the ultimate company man. I’m a tough son-of-a-gun, December 16 I am coming to get that belt. It doesn’t matter who is standing in my way.”
