When is it too late to book your Christmas food delivery?
As a mum of two young kids, Christmas is an exciting time for Megan Huntington, but this year is going to be extra special.
“This will be the first time we’ve all been together for Christmas in ages,” says Megan, 27, a teaching assistant from Devon. “We can’t wait.”
Making the most of the festivities will be Megan’s fiancé Connor and their children, Benjamin, eight, and Arabella, three; as well as her sister Charlotte and her two children, plus her mum Emma and stepdad Pete.

“I love Iceland, I never shop anywhere else, but I normally go into the store to pick up what I want. For Christmas, I’m going to go online and order everything in one big shop.

First on the list is Iceland’s luxury perfect turkey crown for Christmas dinner. “And we like a luxury marmalade glazed gammon joint too.
“We’ll have all the trimmings from Iceland as well. It has to be Iceland's luxury perfect beef dripping roast potatoes, luxury honey roast parsnips, luxury double butter mash, Iceland luxury sprouts loaded with bacon, luxury pork, sage and onion stuffing, Yorkshire puds – and of course, Iceland luxury pigs in blankets, and don’t forget gravy.
“We’ll get starters too, maybe soup and garlic bread and Iceland’s tempura prawns, and desserts including Christmas pudding with custard and Mars dessert for the kids and, of course, their luxury all butter mince pies … quite a few of those.”
There’ll be plenty of party food - “the kids love the chicken strips and sausage rolls” – and Megan adds: “We’ll get things like Iceland luxury sticky chicken skewers, chicken tikka samosas and breaded French camembert rounds with cranberry dip which are three for £10.
"We might even get an Iceland king prawn ring with sweet chilli sauce. And of course, we’ll get all the basics like bread and milk!
“It’s so easy – I might even be a delivery convert after Christmas.”
