Jade Goody's mum Jackiey Budden has remained in the limelight since the Big Brother legend's heartbreaking death in 2009.

Earlier this week, was pictured laying a heartbreaking tribute at her late daughter's grave days before grandson Bobby Brazier does his best to lift the Glitterball trophy on Saturday night. Jackiey put on a brave face as she tended to the grave of late daughter Jade, seen putting up a Christmas tree by the headstone and adorning it with a photograph of Bobby and his professional dance partner Dianne.

The picture chosen by proud nan Jackiey depicts Bobby and Dianne's Couples' Choice routine which the EastEnders star dedicated to his late mum Jade. As she tended to her daughter's grave in the December cold, Jackiey was seen wiping away a tear from her eye after putting up a Christmas tree by her headstone.

Jackiey's visit to her late daughter's final resting place comes amid claims she has been banned from watching her grandson wow Strictly fans and judges alike on the dancefloor over recent months.

Jackiey Budden, mother of Jade Goody, also had her time in the spotlight when she appeared on Celebrity Big Brother in 2007 alongside Jade and her partner Jack Tweed. She was the first person to be evicted from the house on day eight. After the tragic death of her daughter Jade in 2009 from cervical cancer, Jackiey has spoken about her grief and life since then. In 2014, she shared fears of losing her family home after claiming her debit card had been stolen.

In 2019, Jackiey appeared on the Channel 4 show, Jade: The Reality Star Who Changed Britain. During the show, she spoke about the moment her grandson Freddie asked if Jade had become an "angel". "He said: 'Nana I've been awake all night, I can't sleep, is she mummy mummy or mummy angel?'," she revealed. "I said: 'She's mummy angel now.' And he said: 'Can you tell her goodnight for me?'"

On the tenth anniversary of Jade's passing, Jackiey gave an emotional interview to Good Morning Britain. Jackiey shared on ITV's This Morning about her ongoing grief: "The hardest thing is, it doesn't go away... and what I can't get around, when she passed, I was the one who bathed, washed her and I get that flash back all the time."

In 2022, Jackiey joined grandson Bobby and Jack for a charity walk in Essex, organised by Jack and his charity, Cancer Rehab Trust. Jade's mum wore green trackie bottoms, a pink t-shirt, and a bright yellow hoodie as she spent time with her grandson.
