Tony Bellew posts cryptic video about 'fake friends' amid I'm A Celebrity 'feud'
Tony Bellew posted a cryptic video about ‘fake friends’ amid a rumoured rift between this year’s I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here contestants.
The boxer finished in second place during the emotional final on Sunday, as hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly announced Sam Thompson was King of the Jungle. Since then, fans have spotted controversial former politician Nigel Farage, who was in third place, has been snubbed by his former campmates.
Made in Chelsea star Sam does not follow Farage on social media, with Nick Pickard, Marvin Humes, Nella Rose and Grace Dent also refusing to engage with the ex-UKIP leader on Instagram and Twitter. The only celebrity following the 59-year-old GB News presenter is EastEnders star Danielle Harold, and he has returned the favour.
Tony has seemingly hinted at the deep rift between the campmates in a video posted on his Instagram Story. In the short clip, a man is discussing the importance of friendships as an adult, and warned viewers that “loyalty is a two way street” as he called out toxic friendships. “Stop calling people, man. Stop calling them, and see who call you,” he began.
“The only reason why y’all talk every day is because you keeping an open line of communication. People trying to be friends with people that ain’t friends with them. Loyalty is a two way street,” he stated.
TOWIE's Chloe Brockett makes cheeky dig at Saffron Lempriere during filmingJust a few hours after he posted that on his Instagram Story, Tony shared a video on his grid, in which he thanked all his fans for their support while he was in the jungle ahd shared a montage of his time in the IAC camp. “I’m back! Just a post to say I’m back from an amazing adventure for me and my family! Met some lifelong friends and made some remarkable memories and some I would rather forget!!” he laughed.
“Massive thanks to my campmates, everyone involved @itv @imacelebrity and even those two @antanddec who seemed to thrive in my misery! Finally a huge thank you to everyone who supported me and who took time to vote for me to stay in that jungle and congrats @samthompsonuk a deserved winner!,” Tony added.
Eagle-eyed fans spotted he failed to mention Farage, who finished in third place, in his gushing caption on the post. They also noted that the montage of Tony’s time in the jungle did not feature the politician at all, despite him being with Farage in the final.
