Jamie Lynn Spears 'regrets' quitting I'm A Celeb after 'tough' jungle stint
Jamie Lynn Spears has addressed her reasons for leaving I’m A Celebrity for the first time in a new TV appearance.
The campmate was the second star to quit the series following Grace Dent 's own departure, having admitted she wanted to go home for days. Now, Jamie Lynn has addressed her exit and her time in camp after previously thanking the show and her campmates for her time in the jungle.
Speaking on I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! Coming Out on Wednesday, Britney Spears' sister revealed all. She revealed all on the "bond" she had with her new friends, saying they were "life-long" friends who she wanted to "adopt" her in the UK.
Jamie Lynn also talked about her reasons for discussing her family life and past with Britney, and admitted she wished she could do the show for longer. She said: "The first few days in camp were tough for me. The only way I felt I could cope was to cry.
"And out of nowhere surprisingly these wonderful humans scooped me up and brought out a side of me I didn't know I had. I let my guard down."

I wasn't gonna be the one not sharing, that would be strange." She added that talking about their lives and families helped them to bond, adding: "I dunno if I have really had that as an adult."
On staying in touch, Jamie Lynn revealed: "I think I wanna move to the UK, I'd like them to adopt me. I have never laughed harder with a group of humans like that where your abbs are hurting. I made life-long friends, I forgot I could do that. I forgot people could like me.
"The hardest but most fulfilling thing I have ever done just for me, not for anyone else, just for me. I really wanted to be there longer. I do regret that my journey didn't fully play out til the end. I can't say enough I've made life-long friends. I hope they feel the same way."
A spokesperson for I'm A Celebrity said at the time of her exit: "Jamie Lynn Spears has left I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here! on medical grounds. She's been a fantastic campmate who has triumphed at trials and bonded well with her fellow celebrities."
Days after, she broke her silence on social media. She told her Instagram followers: "I can’t wait to share with y’all everything about this once in a lifetime experience, but I don’t even know where to start when trying to describe what an incredibly special time and place I had with some of the absolute best humans I have ever met and consider family now.
"Thank yall for welcoming me into your living rooms night after night, and for supporting me through all the highs and lows. I’m am so grateful for this show, and all of the wonderful people apart of it! I will be taking some time to recovery and spend time with my family, but looking forward to sharing all about my journey on @imacelebrity with everyone! Love yallll."
