Brooklyn Beckham's wife branded 'nightmare bride' in documentary on wedding feud
Nicola Peltz Beckham has been branded a "nightmare bride" in a new documentary about her wedding planner feud.
The 28-year-old actress, who married Brooklyn Beckham in a lavish ceremony last year, went through three event organisers after two couldn't meet the "scale" of what the actress had hoped for. Her dad, Nelson Peltz, sued her second organisers Plan Design Events – claiming they failed to return a deposit of $159,000 (£125,000) after they were sacked.
Plan Design Events counter-sued, disclosing hundreds of texts that they claimed showed "unreasonable" demands from the Peltz family. The documents, obtained by the Daily Mail, claim that Peltz was acting like a "billionaire bully" and became so frustrated with the chaotic planning that he wanted to cancel the wedding but his wife Claudia begged him not to as it would "destroy Nicola's career".
In a joint statement, both sides said: "The parties believe that this contract dispute should be resolved on the terms agreed. As part of the settlement Plan Design will make a donation in the name of Nicola and Brooklyn to the CARE Ukraine Crisis Fund. Plan Design wishes Nicola and Brooklyn Peltz Beckham happiness and a fruitful life together."
It was the third planner, Michelle Ragos, who completed the job, but reportedly charged the Peltz family an escalated fee because of the tight turn-around.

The Peltz' feud with the wedding designers will be brought to TV screens in a new documentary called Peltz Beckhams vs The Planners, which will delve into the behind-the-scenes drama of the 2022 wedding. In it, Nicola is branded a "nightmare bride" and a "very, very insecure individual who is insecure of their career".
MIrror Online has contacted the Beckhams for comment.
Mark Niemierko, a celebrity wedding planner who wasn't involved in the wedding event, claimed that the first red flag was when famed wedding planner Preston Bailey quit the gig. At the time, he claimed he was "over-committed" on other jobs.
"For (Bailey) to walk away would be quite considerable. The wedding handed to them (the new planners) was a hot mess. A lot of alarm bells would have been ringing if I'd got that call," Niemierko says in the documentary.
The "hot mess" - Niemierko calls it - was then passed onto Nicole Braghin and Arianna Grijalba, who took over the wedding. The duo were fired just eight days into the role because, as alleged in legal documents, they weren't up to scratch.
John Uustal, a celebrity trial attorney, claims in the documentary that Nicola fired the planners because "she was getting scared" about the unfolding drama, which he called a "slow-moving train crash." The group chat the planners were subject to was labeled a "group chat from hell" with "total carnage everywhere," which made Nicola come across "as a nightmare bride, exactly the sort of person you don't want having your phone number," Chris Lochery, the editor at gossip site Popbitch, says in the documentary.
He also claims that the filing of the lawsuit makes the Peltz family look "petty and entitled" adding that the drama overshadowed the event. "They look spoiled and are trying to sue hardworking women over $150,000, to try and ruin their reputations. It's a horrible situation," he says.
"More articles have been written about the wedding dispute than the actual wedding itself," Lochery added. "If Nelson Peltz understood the celebrity world he never would have done this."
Niemierko echoed this, explaining that the Beckham family are keen to "make this go away as quickly as possible."
Brooklyn Beckham sparks backlash again with 'Scouse soup' after pasta fiascoDespite the drama, Nicola and Brooklyn tied the knot on April 10th last year, with their wedding costing £3 million. The couple said ‘I do’ at 6pm sharp in the lavish ceremony in front of 300 guests at Nicola’s palatial family home near the beach in Miami.
Best men were Brooklyn’s brothers Romeo, 19, and Cruz, 17, while his little sister Harper, 10, was a bridesmaid. Nicola shone in a pristine bridal gown designed by Valentino.
The pair were married underneath a flower-garlanded chuppah in a traditional Jewish ceremony which honoured the bride’s Jewish heritage. They were also said to have enjoyed a passionate six second long smooch after the marriage officiant declared them husband and wife – all while an A-list crowd, including TV chef Gordon Ramsey, Desperate Housewives star Eva Longoria and tennis legend Serena Williams watched on.
The newlyweds landed the mother of all magazine deals in relation to their wedding as Vogue snapped up the rights to share photos from their big day along with a cover shoot for their June 2022 issue.
