Actor Keanu Reeves' home was targeted yet again this week as burglars in ski masks ransacked his residence and fled the scene before police could arrive.

On Wednesday evening, the John Wick stars' $7million (£5.5million) Hollywood mansion was broken into after multiple masked men smashed in a window and illegally entered the residence.

The Los Angeles Police Department responded to the burglary after receiving an anonymous call reporting that there was a possible trespasser at the home around 7 p.m. Cops later arrived at the home but found no one inside.

Sources later told TMZ the burglars reportedly took off with one of the actor's firearms inside of the home but it remains unclear if any other items were stolen. The 59-year-old star is said to have been unharmed as he was reportedly away from his home during the incident. Law enforcement is continuing to investigate the robbery.

According to reports, detectives are still investigating the incident to see if there are any other surrounding clues to indicate how the robbery took place and the identity of the burglars. The news outlet reported that one specific detail detectives are looking more closely into is whether the first call to police was made by someone scoping the house.

But this isn't the first time the former Matrix star was targeted by robbers and stalkers. Back in 2014, the star faced not one but two back-to-back intruders breaking into his home. During the incident Keanu's robber was an unexpected culprit as a woman in her mid-40's forcibly entered the mansion while he was fast asleep. After breaking into the home she reportedly fell asleep herself in his library chair.

In addition to this, the former Constantine star also granted a temporary restraining order against one of his alleged stalkers this year. Keanu filed the petition at the Los Angeles Superior Court in February against a 38-year-old man who reportedly stalked, harassed, and trespassed on the star's property on numerous occasions.

The Mirror has reached out to the LAPD and Keanu's representatives for comment.
