Brooklyn Beckham's awkward exchange with mum Victoria after family denied feud
Brooklyn Beckham was part of an awkward social media exchange with his mum Victoria Beckham amid claims of a family 'feud'.
Fashion designer mum Victoria shared a snap of a very old looking baby tooth, as she wrote on her Instagram story: "Found this old baby tooth.... Do you want it back???? @brooklynpeltzbeckham @davidbeckham". Unsurprisingly Brooklyn declined to have the baby tooth back, even as a childhood keepsake.
Sharing the post back to his own Instagram account, the eldest Beckham child wrote: "No thank you hahah". Whilst the star's acknowledged his mother's odd request, it comes after months of gossip that a family feud has made things difficult and tense in the Beckham household.
The Instagram exchange comes after months of gossip between mum of four Victoria and eldest son Brooklyn, after it appeared the family had fallen out when Brooklyn married model Nicola Peltz in April last year.
Pop star Victoria was previously reported to have been embroiled in a heated feud with Brooklyn's wife Nicola after the 28-year-old tied the knot with her son. The supposed fall out came when she married Brooklyn back in April 2021 wearing a couture Valentino dress – but the initial plan was for her to wear a specially-made gown designed by Victoria.
Nicola Peltz's texts revealed as her billionaire dad sues wedding plannersCommenting on the dress rumours, Nicola previously clarified to Variety as she explained: "I was going to [wear Victoria Beckham] and I really wanted to, and then a few months down the line, she realized that her atelier couldn't do it, so then I had to pick another dress. She didn't say you can't wear it; I didn't say I didn't want to wear it. That's where it started, and then they ran with that."
In the same interview, husband Brooklyn added: "I've learned they're always going to try to write stuff like that. They're always going to try and put people down. But everyone gets along, which is good."
On both sides the family have always denied a feud, with Nicola telling Cosmopolitan earlier this year: "I've said this so many times: There's no feud. I don't know. No one ever wants to write the nice things. It's really weird, actually, whether it's my life or someone else's life or whatever, when you know the truth and then you read something totally wrong."
